It’s amazing to see how the foundations of what BCNR would become are all here but somehow it feels incomplete without Issac’s vocals
Connor was / is kinda shite. Watch the live performances of NC - completely over the top. I’m probably bias but Isaac was more of a natural and his performance felt more authentic. But the roots of early BCNR lie in Nervous Conditions. Would’ve been interesting to see where they would’ve gone with this lineup if Connor hadn’t been such an asswipe.
But now Isaac won’t be singing anymore so will it feel incomplete again?

yeah they rlly did. I think Isaac's vocals are much better than connor's, this album is good too tho.

Im still very sad to this day that BNCR never released these songs.
Im pretty sure they wanted to just cut all ties and start over after the whole sexual assault allegations and what not
@@Biggssyyy Yes, i understand. But the Nervous Conditions songs are badasses colossal dark progressive monsters. It is very sad that these songs will never be relesead.

The bass in the second track reminds me of 'Jaded' by the Contortions.
Was there ever a proper recording/demo of that Badlands/West Winch song? That was one of their best and most intense songs. The live videos are great but would love to hear a recorded version.

one song is on soundcloud, the president, the rest got taken off as the singer was accused of sexual assault in early 2018, the remaining members of the band have started a band called black country new road though.

i think this vocals has its own characteristics to it but i understand why people prefer isaac voice
