@@TA3DArtist I agree but we're all focused on the color of Batman or Bruce Wayne because for a long time when he was created, and he was created in times where they could never see him as no other race but Caucasian, Bruce Wayne is a person who is very intelligent and has studied 100 different martial arts and is obsessed with solving his parents murder and then he decided to just keep on doing what he was doing even after he solved the murder, that can be anyone type of personality for anybody it does not have to just be Bruce Wayne because he's has blue eyes and dark black hair, the actor will have to carry the presence as well as the depth of the personality, and you just can't say that yeah I'm going to be bat man because it's a popular character.

Only one story teller that can pull off something like this ,Ryan Coogler, for the other directors they will stay within their creative realm
and tell cliche stories. People are forgetting how talented Ryan Coogler had to be to make Namor work and create his own unique story.
Could the Duke’s batman be done? Yes, but it would need a unique story. James Gunn is not talented enough as a Writer to write it into continuation , nor as good of director as Ryan Coogler to create the artistic vision.

It feels like Batman is so much of a worse person if he's black because he's not doing enough for all the black people likely living in the ghetto of Gotham and it poses a lot of questions about where the Waynes old money came from because I always assumed that the Waynes were in slavery before getting into the start of the industrial boom. Everyone else in batman's life can be black except batman and Oliver Queen because old money in America must be white. Even the Joker can be black because chemicals can bleach black peoples skin too and change the hair color. Even superman can be black as long as they use one of the black supermans from the comics and dont make Clark black. I say all this as a black man who is aware of how race can and can't effect a story and for most characters there really is not much effect unless there culture is important.

Personally I just don’t understand why. I have no interest in a black man playing a privileged billionaire who forcibly beats up criminals and works with the frankly corrupt Gotham police system, but that’s just me.
He can play Bane, I suppose. But he is too monstrous to play Bruce Wayne/Batman. Also, there are fewer black people in Gotham. Everyone will immediately put 2+2 together. So the answer is a categorical NO!
