- A sermon delivered by C.H. Spurgeon, Lord's day morning June 20th 1886.
Unusually for Spurgeon, he preaches with very close reference to the whole chapter; almost in the form of a Bible study. Instead of developing his theme from many other sources, the supreme emphasis is Isaiah chapter 33.
The main theme of the discourse is forgiveness. Spurgeon plainly declares that, for the child of God, being forgiven is the golden key to unlock spiritual healing. From that point, all joy, comfort and blessing will follow.

I play these sermons for my brother who is bed ridden in a nursing home , it gives him so much comfort and to me also .

I also have frequently felt tearful in reading them. Somehow Spurgeon touches a chord of our humanity, pains and foolishness which can make us long to feel closer to God.

These sermons are great. I listen to as many as I can. You do a great job voicing them.
Hes called the Prince of preacher's. Yes many of our preacher's since have quoted him he is still used of our Lord. All praise to our God. And those who have discernment will agree but many in the modern church's lack this sadly but Jesus said this would happen false teachers water down the gospel 🙏

To anyone who is reading this please pray for a miracle for me, I have bills that is due on Friday and I don't have the money for it and I am so stressed
Trust Jesus who already knows that you have bills . Pray constantly and trust Him in faith . He already has ordered your steps . I recently went through the same thing as this and I am so mad at myself for not trusting God . I have learned a great lesson to trust God and that he cares about my problems even if He tally’s and things get worse , it’s for a reason that He sometimes makes us wait till the last second. He will turn in your favor but He wants to see if you will continue to be thankful and faithful to Him . He is teaching us to learn that He is provider and we must humble ourselves under his mighty hand. You will soon be singing thankful songs to Him . He is in with us, he is not against us

His preaching shows how in his times the decline of man through religion was abundant its not religious but relationship with Jesus. Many religious not right with God. Jesus Himself said many to HE will say I never knew you
