If you’re not doing maths a level but are doing physics, you have my sympathies
:(
Abdallah Al Shacker y tho
Eric Jeffrey thanks
I'm not going to lie to you about your chances, but...
Yeah people who done as are gonna be in for a surprise for yr 2 content
your probably single handedly the reason why i'm not failing physics btw
And bob's your uncle.
Glad I'm not the only one who heard that lol
Your mathematic explanation about deriving the decay formula was clear and helpful. Thank you.
A-Level 8:15
Thanks bruv
Today is the 6th of Jan, 1am. My A levels are this month, first exam ph4 is on 7th and ph5 on 16th(with other exams in between). I didn't finish ph4 particle physics & capacitors even two days before, but watching your vids i finished them all and am prepared for the exam tomorrow. watching Ph5 now because that's in shit shape as well but im fixing things up and your vids are 60% of the reason why i can. Man, bless you and thank you. You're saving lives here.
how did it go
@@izzashahid6427 good
@@user-ji8br3dl9s lmao
This was actually ridiculously helpful THANKS SO MUCH!
These Videos are literally saving my A level. Thank you very much!!!!!!
3 days. 3 topics.
hana lee good luck to us all
rookie numbers
it doesn't sound so bad when you put it like that lol
This comment aged fast now its 24 hours. 3 topics. Lmao
9 hours 4 topics lmao
I take maths and the maths in physics was always troubling me , mainly cuz we have alot of non math students in our class and it makes sense we don't study derivation of many equations, thx alot for this video, cleared up alot of things
Thanks for making great videos , you’re the reason I got a grade 1 in Unit 1 CAPE, unit 2 exams are coming up!
Thanks a lot dude, this saved my O levels!!
Thank you so much. You are so good. Thank you for saving my life
Thanks mate, needed the equations that aren’t on the equation sheet
PCN level 2 radiography exam, brings back some memories, also the headaches, 😂 😂 😂
Good video very helpful but didn't cover everything we did in y12 such as carbon dating or % calculations can you do one on that aswell?
You helped alot but I got sleeping watching this
what is the difference between activity and count rate?
the only thing I can think of to add is in the definition of a half life is its the mean time taken for activity of an isotope to halve, right?
How do u work out the radius of a nuclei? isnt it in the exam
thankyou they r very helpful but the sound of sharpi rubbing on paper is VERY itchy please change the pen if possible
👍👍 markscheme notes on point 👍👍
Respect for your videos 🙌🙌
What you mean
can you provide some practise questions
your videos are the best but what about nuclear radius and nuclear density?
every time he says source, i hear sauce so i just imagine eating alpha and beta radiation sauce 😂
7:33 someone is hungry :)
Take all my love and respect🥰🥰❤
How do you rearrange the last equation?
Carefully. You rearrange it carefully.
at about 16:00 why is the area of the curcle 4Pir^2? I feel stupid snd thst it should be obvious but its really annoying me and I can't figure it out
Surface area of a sphere, not circle.
6:38 HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you took away the back ground count surely u have to add it back on to the 7.5 to find the activity counted
no because u wanna find the activity of the sample after 4 half lives, so when youre given the background activity + sample activity initially you just want to find the initial sample activity. thats why its 145-25= 120Bq
R these videos for AS level aswell?
At 8:02 would you not add the background radiation at the end?
No Bcos it asks for the activity of the isotope not the total count
1-How many atoms and grams of 90Y are in secular equilibrium with 50 mCi of
90Sr?
2-How many MBq of 132I (T1/2 = 2.3 hours) should be ordered so that the sample
activity will be 500 MBq when it arrives 24 hours later?
Idk bro you tell me
Half life 3 confirmed
Fab!!
thank you, but intensity similar/same to activity?
Not activity, but measured count rate, yes.
@@ScienceShorts ah thank you, but aren't both activity and count rate measured in bq. In my text book it uses the intensity equation k/x^2 with figuring out the the change in bq (like the radiusx2 thus the bq/4) that's why i am a bit confused with them. thank you for replying so quickly
At 15:55 why is the area of the whole circle 4 pi squared? Thank you so much for the videos they're absolutely amazing :)
Area of a *sphere*
Hello❤️
Is it possible to get your email for classes?
did anyone else hear the dog at 2:10
Do you drag race?
For AQA do we need to know the derivations?
+Cardifyz Nope!
Okay thanks, not that it's a problem , I find them fun to derive :D
for ocr do you need to know the derivation?
moist yute
yoist mute
3/6/24, p2 exam is 6/6/24, wish me luck. I didn't revise enough for this icl. If someone replies back to this in like a year I'll reply with my results
Pov your a GCSE student that watched through all the alevel stuff just to get confused
13:55
I wonder are captions on CZcams done by a person or a computer
If something has a halflife is 5 days how is there any left?.
The inverse-square law is it in actual fact of physics the gravity is not and has been disproven
i'm in US, what does A-level mean?
For you, AP.
at 8:05 dont you have to add 25 again
Kishan45 no because that’s not to do with the activity given out by the rock itself, which is what you’re calculating
@@joshwheel2105 ok
Ey yo what does that game half life have to do with radiation..?
*this is a joke*
Incoherent dielectric acceleration
who is bob? and why is he my uncle?
Is this his real voice??
Why wouldn't it be 😂
@@ScienceShorts cuz...well you have a Deep voice amazing
2022 a levels anyone?
HELLO! cramming for tomorrow?
@@thomaskeig_ always
Bob is not my uncle
"Half" was initially spelt correctly, sir. "Halve" is written with an "s" at the end to indicate the plural form of half.
You are wrong. Source: I speak English.
@@ScienceShortsuhm. . that's a first.. Will check it out
It's the verb innit.
@@ScienceShorts thanks for the correction
Halve (Verb)-To create two parts of equal size.
Half (Noun), Halves (Plural) - Either of two equal or corresponding parts into which something is or can be divided.
Sounds so Ill wtf
Maybe try to write more neatly ???!!
