    Today is the 6th of Jan, 1am. My A levels are this month, first exam ph4 is on 7th and ph5 on 16th(with other exams in between). I didn't finish ph4 particle physics & capacitors even two days before, but watching your vids i finished them all and am prepared for the exam tomorrow. watching Ph5 now because that's in shit shape as well but im fixing things up and your vids are 60% of the reason why i can. Man, bless you and thank you. You're saving lives here.

    if you took away the back ground count surely u have to add it back on to the 7.5 to find the activity counted

    • @xenoclops756
      @xenoclops756 Před 2 lety +1

      no because u wanna find the activity of the sample after 4 half lives, so when youre given the background activity + sample activity initially you just want to find the initial sample activity. thats why its 145-25= 120Bq

      @@ScienceShorts ah thank you, but aren't both activity and count rate measured in bq. In my text book it uses the intensity equation k/x^2 with figuring out the the change in bq (like the radiusx2 thus the bq/4) that's why i am a bit confused with them. thank you for replying so quickly
