It’s remarkable the way you explain how your prostheses work 👍! And it's happy to have this technology to allow you to walk again, hoping for even more progress in this area to help you and make your life easier 😉💖👍 You deserve it!!
OMG I'm thinking just springs and whoop-dee-doo and you come out with this microprocessor weight distribution on the heel and toe with different hydraulic actuators.... That is the most badass shit I have seen or heard of in a long time as of today. Sick!!!
I been watching your videos for a little while now. I just lost my right leg, below the knee and want to tell you thanks for all the help and support you’ve given me. I laugh, I cry, but most importantly I learn. God bless
God knew you need eachother before you knew you need eachother. Praying for a successful speedy healing journey to your new you. It's all okay and normal to feel everything you are feeling It's a way to grieve. You are okay, always know this never doubt it ❤. Strength and support to you through your growing in your new journey ❤💪🙏❤
Reminds me of like 20 years ago being a kid and seeing a special on the Discovery Channel (back when it made things actually informative) about prosthetic limbs. I was amazed at the ingenuity of one particular system, that allowed for easy stair-climbing for a single-leg amputee by a camera on the knee joint pointing to the intact leg that helped it sense when the guy was bending that leg to climb steps, and would use that data to copy its movement. I’m probably only half-remembering, but it fascinated me at the time that we could build something so advanced-and now before we reach the middle of the century, we’ll have prosthetics that plug directly into the brain or nervous system and move through nerve input like a real limb.
Your videos are just amazing. I literally don’t know how to describe it. Every time I watch one I literally feel like I’ve gained something from what you’ve explained or did. Idk if that makes any sense. But. Stay awesome my guy!
At a guess I believe MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW that amputees are well and truly educated in how their prosthesis works. Before you can truly use your prosthesis to the maximum, you have got to know what makes it work. I pity the folks who have to ask. Their brains are obviously back in the 16th century day of "Long John Silver" and peg legs! Only your good heart and seemingly endless patience brings them into the 21ST CENTURY. Bless you, Dude, you are lifting the scales of ignorance from their eyes.
Thanks for teaching me something Ive always wanted to know, how these mechanically work. o///o :plea: You, and your videos are amazing and I am grateful for your presence in my feed every day. :]
If you compare walking with those prosthetics compared to walking when you had real legs, is it physically more straining to walk with prosthetics? Or is it as with meat legs that you just put one foot in front of the other and it doesn't require much strength?
Oh cool i never knew that. I am a bk its totally different. You and your buddies are so inspirational ❤️! Do you use a mixture of alcohol amd water to clean your stumps or is it straight alcohol??
These guys are getting amazing huh? Getting a new leg first one I don't have to use my muscle to keep my leg on having what's known as a "Seattle legg" for 36 years it's amazing to see new tec
Ive seen many people who don't have such complex and complete prosthetics like you have. Makes me wonder if it was differences in insurance to cover them. Thinking that just makes me hate insurance companies more.
I have a question. I have pondered this for a long time, and you seem so open. When they make your new prosthetics, do they make you taller, shorter r do they go by the height you were before accident? Sorry, i dont know your history, but you look like a Veteran.
Actually a good question. Like can they size them for height or are they pretty much pre-made kind of a one size fits all. One for women, men & children. I bet they're all made to fit each person differently or specifically to their actual size. Almost would need to because kids & women are smaller. But I could see where if a person wanted to be shorter or taller that they could make them to their liking.
You have active suspension like an expensive car basically. That's cool.. i didn't know that prosthetic had active abilities.. i thought they were purely mechanical
Are the hydraulics fast enough to run? At least hypothetically-I imagine it’d be a bear trying to do without constant feedback and the ability to constantly adjust. I just wondered how the hydraulics would handle slowing from a jog or a sprint. Cool stuff, man! You’re an inspiration. I’ve got both legs, and I’m still not half the man you are.
In theory, yes. When I programmed my walking speeds with my knees, they program the different walking speeds and fast speeds so the knee can respond accordingly.
So you are telling me that you prosthetics are wayyyyyy expensive. My hubby has a symes amputation below the knee and its like 15 grand last time he got it replaced. He is quite a few years overdue cause its just too expensive.
Bro this shit i the future. Only thing missing are some motorized parts doing muscle movments to give u more power and control. Im sure that im another 10 or twenty years we’re gonna just be 3d printing replacement body parts.
My girlfriend is a biomedical engineer and wants to work with prosthetics someday. She really loved this explanation! Have a wonderful day.
This guys energy is amazing.

I was wondering the same thing thank you for explaining
An answer to a question I never knew I had.

As a mother ,i sens you all my strenght and i wish you all my support 😉🥰! Be strong !
I was just about look up how they work, and this came up in my shorts.
Thanks for sharing.
That impressive engineering
This is just so freakin cool. I have always been curious about how that works.
You know I took two years of hydraulics in college......never woulda thought of that lol
Thank you for explaining that.

Very interesting. Good design. You are enlightening and helping so many people. Thank you for sharing your walk. ❤
You are educating many people
Thank you for explaining!! These were questions i had for years!❤
That's Blaaaaady clever! 🤔🧐😮🤯
I've never seen prothstetics like that. Amazing
That’s cool and keep up the awesome work buddy…
That's wild. I never knew that prosthetics were so precise. Are these your favorite pair so far?

You did a very good job explaining how it works
Do the valves ever make “farting noises”? 😂
That's incredible
Thank you for this simple explanation sir
I love that it's possible for you to walk❤
This makes so much sense! Thanks for explaining
Very informative see, 👍🏽 thanks
Good explanation
Interesting stuff, thanks for explanation
That is so cool!

You, and your videos are amazing and I am grateful for your presence in my feed every day. :]
that's *amazing*. omg.
You remimd me of the guy that beats runners on his carbon fiber legs
It's crazy how natural it looks in motion. Is that much of a learning process or is it so close to organic legs that your brain just knows what to do?
I was wondering how that worked thank you brother God bless.
Good Morning Buddy ❤
New boot goofin energy😂🤙🏼
I think I get it love the explanations and all the cool stuff you do
😮 That's fascinating
amazing!
So if you tried to tiptoe you would just fall over since the knee would be loose? That is so facinating! 😀
You're the million dollar man.
I know of someone that just lost 1 or 2 legs, still in critical. Thank you for your content
I've been scrolling all morning looking for an explanation cause those looked really nice
Ha ha thanx ..i asked this exact question on another post !

Heal…toe, heal… toe. 😂❤

Cool...😮❤
So when you dare devils went hiking, would it have been harder with your legs or would they of made it easier?

Wow no idea they had that kinda tech

@@amusedobserver8043 That’s crazy cool! Thanks for sharing.
Only last question i have is, was the loss of legs an amputation or service related, cus most amputations they try to keep the ankle to use as a knee
I understand 👋🏿👋🏿
Do you wear shoes over your prosthetics so that the leg is not worn down over time?
When you do the back trails with your friends why don't you use your legs, you have great videos by the way
Put some Jordan's on thwm feet lol i bet that would go viral
So if you do tiptoes, do the knees give out?
Free swing it baby😂😂
Works almost like your tendons.
You should get with Kat Williams and be on his poor tink tink show kool😎
A comment for the algorithm
What type of prosthetic is that like? I have a level one prosthetic what when will that be considered a level four prosthetic?
Dudes a cyborg
Strike the heal
Load the toe
I wonder is it difficult to put on shoes since weight needs to be on the heel to bend? Or do you just straight leg put them on?
You put the shoe on before you attach the leg 😭
How does it work on a steep hill
Wanna hang out this weekend?
Na man, gotta change the oil on my legs.
.......um....what?
💪🍻🇺🇸✝️🙏🫶
You can't beat a stiff one 😜
So you are telling me that you prosthetics are wayyyyyy expensive. My hubby has a symes amputation below the knee and its like 15 grand last time he got it replaced. He is quite a few years overdue cause its just too expensive.
Do you ever forget to charge your legs?
6 million dollar man we can build him better technology.
Can you stand on your tippie toes?
That is some g ass technology man.

I love the beard, but I bet you would look 20 yrs younger if you shaved it.........????? ❤
