I am happy to report that my taste buds are back to normal following the habanero incident. It was worth it to have yet another fun day with these awesome dudes.

Just dove into Home Free n all that they are ..during an Artic Freeze in Texas..this Minnesota gal with 4 ternagers 2 of them being specail needs i shared this music ..it hepled during the power outages n darkness to hear a group realize what humans can do with a voice or group of voices..i feel honored n priveledged ..even sent some songs to my soon to be better half in Dubi .we have been seperated long enough today we were joined by voices far n wide....Loud&Proud to be a new Home Free Fan.

Well, I'd had very little experience with hot peppers, so we're sitting there and our food came, and there was a small yellow pepper on my plate. Think like, a banana pepper. I asked whether it was hot, and he said nah, not really. I took a bite. Mistake lol.
You guys eat those. You need a jar of honey on hand...Water or milk won't help....😆😆I feel for ya...lol.Poor Tim. He looked like he didn't feel good after those peppers. That wood work is very nice. Love the Home Free sign.

Watching them gently putting the eggs down to be cooked, then sitting down to a great looking meal reminded me of my childhood summers with my folks driving from California to Texarkana, TX to stay with my grandparents to celebrate 3 generations (a 4th came later) of birthdays just before the Fourth. My uncles would barbecue different meats in an old upright refrigerator out on the back porch. I'd go hang out in the kitchen for 15-20 minutes just so I'd feel cooler in the afternoon heat when I came out.

Right! They don't call those "twice-burn peppers" for no reason. LOL I would like to see them try some hotter peppers, like Ghost, Scorpion, or my favorite, Carolina Reapers. Not that they don't make my sinuses and eyes cry! Grin
