At minute 05:00 that is actually not a tipping jar In Japan it is common to not give the money directly into the cashiers hands or the counter top but to put it into such a little bowl. Since Nintendo is located in Japan I asume that's what it should resemble
Thank you for the tip with the slingshot! I actually kept buying the more expensive one because I thought it lasted longer! (I think this is the case with the shovel and the axt so I assumed it would be the same with the slingshot) From now on I will save money on that slingshot, thanks!
The benefit of the more expensive tools is goh can customize them to reset the durability. One customizer is 600, and you can do this indefinitely. Which I'm sure saves you money in the long run.

Actual Japanese stores tend to have their closing music to have workers prepare for the end of the day and if anyone else is still in there it's a reminder that the store's closing. ^_^
@@heroyolkie Oh, ok! Thanks!
You can make them engage in some little actions using Reactions (like, taking a photo of them or clapping) and their animations are the cutest 😳
At minute 05:00 that is actually not a tipping jar
In Japan it is common to not give the money directly into the cashiers hands or the counter top but to put it into such a little bowl.
Since Nintendo is located in Japan I asume that's what it should resemble
Timmy and Tommy scamming me the whole time….. WITH A SMILE 👁👄👁
Thank you for the tip with the slingshot! I actually kept buying the more expensive one because I thought it lasted longer! (I think this is the case with the shovel and the axt so I assumed it would be the same with the slingshot)
From now on I will save money on that slingshot, thanks!
I wish our characters would hold the shopping baskets by the tip jar/change tray, that would have been neat
The benefit of the more expensive tools is goh can customize them to reset the durability. One customizer is 600, and you can do this indefinitely. Which I'm sure saves you money in the long run.
2 of my friends gave me the golden tools yesterday as well as the recipes if I get them again I'd give them to my nieces who play thanks to my friends and Nintendo support I was able to get my island back after my switch factory reset on me earlier this week 😊💖
That blue thing isn't a tip jar, in japan they use these to set cards and money on so everyone can know exactly how much money is being used, and where the money is
For 1: I kept mine and decorated my campsite with them!
5:35 I’ve always known that and thought every already knew about it so I didn’t make a video on it!
Great wee video. I found that Timmy and Tommy won't kick you out at 10pm if you are sitting down. You can sit for quite a while!
Lol I set up a campsite with those items you get at start so I never would’ve saw that 😂 that’s hilarious
Hey, they won't kick you out if you're sitting
And they won't kick you out if you invite a friend (online, not local) and you're both in it
Crossing channel: they are actually scamming you.
Me: buys 50 duck fishing rods
They also change the music before they close :)
7:20 they are Tom Nook & Redd! It’s so adorable seeing them like that
OMG- ON THE LAST ONE, DID YOU SEE THAT STRETCH TIMMY DID- AWWWWW
When you access the cabinet on your controller you push the R button it will let you look at and buy walls and flooring. I myself have gotten kicked out of Nooks and Cranny, I found it funny. Most of the information you mentioned I knew thanks to watching videos like yours. Thanks.
here in japan, people don't tip. it is actually frowned upon and that little tray is what you put the money in and give to the cashier :)
the lil halloween hats timmy n tommy wear actually made me cry the other day bc of how cute it is :’)
i noticed the exterior changes for holidays, but i hadn't noticed the general seasonal ones! this will really help me out on my new island since i set it to the opposite hemisphere to help ease my seasonal depression. if i ever forget if the season has changed over yet i can just look at nooks lol
6:48 Also remember that if you enter the Nooks Cranny building between 9:50 to close, there will be different music playing in the shop. It is like this somber string piece. It shocked me when I found out about it at first, but it is a nice little piece.
I only liked the hats Timmy and Tommy wear because I can tell who's who! 😂
Great video, I didn't realize most of this!
When I sold my tent stuff, I sold things in the recycling box and thought that's why Timmy made the reaction.
When I got the Nook's Cranny update, I noticed the stairs and I was creeped out. 😬👍
On my island, my daily routine is: Step 1. Visit The Able Sisters Step 2. Talk to my villagers. Step 3. Look for any balloons in the sky
Step 4. Change my outfit (I visit The Able Sisters WAY to often 🤫). Step 5. Enjoy my island life and do whatever
For some reason you can use the sitting reaction to avoid getting kicked out from nooks cranny but when you get up they will kick you out
My adult children who share my island with me think that Timmy and Tommy are dressed like Tom Nook and Redd for Halloween...
That's honestly so cute that they want to have a perfect bedtime
Despite playing for a year, the way I’ve just always assumed and purchased the different tools, because I thought they lasted longer LOL
The special tools can last longer as long as you customize them regularly. This doesn't just change the color it resets their durability basically making them new again. So it's worth the extra bells.
@@sarahrotar8854 what?!!! I had no idea! Thanks :-)
People saying ir wouldn't make sense to be able to go into their bedroom's so we won't be getting it in an update, but in New Leaf you could unlock the inside of the RSS where Resseti and Ron lived.
Bob's Gang: My human mind was thinking that square dish was an *GASP* ashtray. My bad.
Never knew we could get kicked out of the shop...I have to try it!!😄
Loved the video and I love Timmy and Tommy they are super cute.
If you go sit in Nooks Cranny , you can stay until you get up. Then Timmy or Tommy will kick you out.
Bob's Gang in the comments! I think they're a little put off that you're selling them something they GAVE you. Like how dare you profit off their generosity. Oh! I loved the reaction you got to you selling the Golden Net recipe. I enjoyed seeing all four of the facades at once, so you could see all the differences. I hope Nook's does get a bit of an update, I loved the way it was in City Folk, with it's changes, even it's hours of operation, based on it's current level. This was a super cute video, thanks!
Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but the bulletin board outside the shop has the hot items of the day listed. Thanks for your video!
the blue tray isn't a tips jar in japan we use it to put money in because the bottom is usually bumpy so its easier to pick it up and so it doesn't get dirty or cross contaminated
I saw the latter too I didn't knew they had a bedroom upstairs
These are such fun videos. Thank you. I love all the details. I like the seasonal items that tie in with events or the season. Also, if you find a villager in the shop and buy what they were interested in, you'll make them so happy.
Also, Bob's Gang.
Timmy and Tommy have some cute hats! Tho I'm concerned that it resembles Crazy Redd
While your shopping in the cupboard, past their bedtime they don't kick you out until you exit it.
4:42 this kind of "tips Jar" in Japan is for money trading, in Japan we don't have "Tips", we use this plate just for trading money instead of using our hands
It’s actually Spring down here in the Southern Hemisphere, and Nook’s Cranny has the pumpkin decorations out for Halloween.
I just restarted my island on my switch lite to try to reignite my passion for ACNH again since I've been ignoring it for a while so I'm enjoying this video.
Plot twist: Timmy & Tommy do get alot of tips and Tom Nook just steals all of it
does anybody else talk to Tommy first because he usually just echoes whatever Timmy says? i always feel like he can never get a word in lol
Timmy and Tommy are adorable and I will protect them with my life
the music in Nooks Cranny changes to weird ominous music at about 9:55 PM.
0:18 Timmy and Tommy bopping along like “Go white boy go”
Timmy and Tommy: Who tf are you talking to?
The Halloween hats are basically them swapping their ear shape.
It doesn't only affect golden DIYs it also affects holiday DIYs.
