i think u know, but NCT U doesn't mean their concept is always like 'The 7th Sense' or 'Boss'. They put whatever members fit the song into the unit. So I think it's better to not have a certain sound or concept attached to this unit. Because that's not what it is ig. As in, don't have a certain expectation of their sound. Cause it varies with every song they release : )
For example, NCT U have songs like 'Without U'.... which are vocal tracks.

@@steppahj I don't think it's being harsh to say that it would be good if they didn't guess at translations (some people won't go out and look it up themselves) and that they should point out that this isn't a music video. And just some basics about the artists. I mean, you don't have to like a song , but this is my first video of theirs and it looked like they didn't even know the NCT concept even though apparently they've reviewed them before.

I think the reason Mark's rap came to the fore is that he was given the company's "hit" points. For example, cutting music and rap fast is one of them. Had Hendery done this too, his would have come to the fore.

Thank you this comment is genuinely trying to bring an understanding rather than bashing and yelling at them to do more research. I stand on a different side of the spectrum and I believe that as a reaction channel they do not necessarily need to do research bc they aren’t necessarily stans though I’m not a subscriber I see this a lot and I believe that rather than having this expectation we should give them understanding by explaining things. We have to understand that they aren’t interviewers so if they don’t Stan a group it’s just reactions for their channel which is the point of the channel. I watch these to see other opinions and I tend to avoid watching Stan reactions because they are usually the same. This song is basically NCT showing their members rap skills because you know lots of people only knew that it's always Mark and Taeyong for doing rapping. This song somehow let other members shine and showcase what they got. And they nailed it. Can't wait for the full song tho.

I think there is a misconception here, THIS IS NOT A TITLE TRACK. I am not mad that they don't like the track (which btw I think is a Bop), however, they have been reacting NCT for quite a while now and they still doesn't even know some names or their concept to understand them. I hope before they react they should know a little bit first about our boys or at least read the comments to know more about the track song and NCT 2020 in general🤷♀️

You guys need to be updated on NCT. This is a track video so not the whole song just like a taste of it. These are 7 of the rappers including Taeyong, Johnny, Mark, Hendery, Jeno, YangYang, and Sungchan. Taeyong, Johnny, and mark are from 127. Hendery and YangYang are from WayV. Jeno and Mark are from Dream. Sungchan is 1 of the 2 new members of nct and is in NCT U along with all the other members. This is just to kind of run down some back info on misfit that hopefully helps. Let’s all look forward to NCT 2020

-NCT is a group that is under SM Entertainment(I'm pretty sure you know by now. If not, then EXO, Red Velvet, and SHINee are under this entertainment company). They currently have 23 members as two were added this year about a month ago. NCT stands for NEO CULTURE TECHNOLOGY. Culture technology was a system that Lee Sooman created that gets music around the world. SM is very unique with music and does not follow the main standards of K-Pop music. In fact, a lot of NCT songs are experiments, and they slay each and every time. In conclusion, stan NCT ot23 for clear skin💚✨🤩💖
-The first unit is NCT U. The U in NCT U stands for united, meaning any one of the members from the 3 other units can sing in a track. They debuted with the song "The Seventh Sense" on April 4th, 2016. The members in this song were Taeyong, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Mark, and Ten. Anyone who is fit for the genre of music or is chosen can participate in the song for this unit. That is why in 2018 you saw Lucas, Jungwoo, and Win-Win in the "Boss" M/V. And in 2019 you saw Haechan and Taeil in the "Coming Home" SM Station Song. And in October 2020, you see Johnny, Sungchan(one of the new members), Jeno, Hendery, and Yang Yang in the "Misfit" Track M/V. In conclusion, NCT U is a rotational unit.
-NCT 127 is sort of the main unit. Promotions are usually seen with this unit and major projects are done with them. They are a FIXED UNIT. I REPEAT, FIXED UNIT HONEY!!! They debuted in 2016 on July 1, with the track "Firetruck". The 127 stands for the longitude of Seoul. And if you are using your brain cells correctly, it means their group is mostly based in Seoul. They were created there as SM is located in Seoul, South Korea. They currently have ten members and haven't added any since 2018 when Jungwoo debuted with them during "Regular" era.
-NCT Dream debuted with their single "Chewing Gum" on August 25, 2016. Originally, they had a graduation system that took place, which is the reason why Mark was not with them during "Boom" and "Ridin'" promotions. But as of April 2020 before the release of NCT Dream's "Reload" album, SM decided to give up the graduation system and remove it permanently as NCTzens could not bear to see them separated once again. If you watch NCT Daily or any of their Vlives, you will see that the chemistry they have is so sweet between each other. So in that case, Mark is back with the Dreamies. Long story short, Mark is a Dreamie again 🥰. This unit mainly focuses on making music solely for the younger generation which is why their songs are a lot more upbeat and have more carefree lyrics but are meaningful because today's generation shares similar brain cells. I can confirm🤪.
-WayV is a more recent unit that recently debuted as of 2019. On January 17, WayV debuted with the Chinese version of "Regular" as their debut song. 3 members were added into this unit making NCT 21 members until very recently. They are mostly based in China and their purpose is to market the NCT brand in China. Unfortunately, the members of WayV were not able to interact with other NCT members for a while due to the Hallyu ban which banned anything branded in the Korean Market in China. But, NCT 2020 IS COMING AND THEY CAN INTERACT NOW!!! Check out their newest album "Awaken the World". They sure did awaken the world with their talents and visuals in "Turn Back Time". (ugh that was the worst line that I could make✋🏽😩).

this is a pre-release before they release their full album! this is only part of the song and they made a mini music video to accompany it, they've also released one for deja vu. the full album and the title track come out on monday. this album is a collaboration between all the subunits, so dream, 127, and wayv are finally all promoting together! they've also added two new members, sungchan (who was in this mv at 4:11) and shotaro.

Y’all need to do research on a song/artist like Dezzy March does every single time (as well as Isaiah Hightower too most times). It’s helpful, not to mention that y’all failed us with the NCT guide last time by doing zero research to find an up to date one. To start I appreciate y’all honest reaction to this and I was pleasantly surprised to see y’all react to this since it’s a track video but then realized y’all didn’t know track video meant not the full song. This is something new sm has been doing with some of their artists this year! Hopefully you guys read the comments and see this important info bc it can change your experience of other track videos! The album hasn’t been released yet it’s coming out soon tho so keep an eye out! Hopefully if y’all like this comeback it’ll give y’all the push y’all need to REALLY get into the rest of nct discography bc it’s experimental just like this track but at the same time they do maintain their expertise with traditional genres like rnb etc and make truly beautiful music that’s unique and trendsetting in kpop (they literally inspired a whole new generation of boy groups, when they first debuted they were called noise music now many groups try to have loud sounding songs and cover nct songs often)

You should look into nct’s overall concept. They currently have 23 members with four subunits within the main nct group. NCT Dream, NCT 127, NCT U and WayV. This subunit, NCT U, is made up of different people depending on the song.
Also this isn’t a title track. It’s like a preview for the album. The title track, Make a Wish, and the album come out Monday.

I think you might be here just for the music so you aren't really updated on what's going on in NCT. I know their concept is not like other usual kpop groups so just to give a picture into whats happening here, basically they are coming back with the whole squad and they name the project NCT 2020, just like what they did with NCT 2018. All units under NCT brands (NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV + 2 new members = 23 members in total) are coming together and release an album titled RESONANCE (divided into 2 parts - part 1 drops this monday oct 12 and part 2 will be out in nov). However, they are making this album a very NCT U centered, meaning that most of the songs have different line up, they mix the members from all 3 units and match them based on the song concept, for example Misfit is NCT rap line, there are rappers from each unit in this song. They will also have a vocal line unit for one of their 2 title tracks. But each fixed unit will also have their own song in the album so if you're wondering, yes there are NCT 127, NCT DREAM and WayV songs although they aren't the title tracks.
Misfit is a b-side song, that's why it's called Track Video not MV, this isn't even the full song. They also released another track video for NCT Dream song, Deja Vu. The actual title track for this album is Make A Wish and it'll come out next Monday, then From Home that will come out a week later.
