Really good stuff. Thanks for the explanation and the examples. I learn this scale using de 5 mode to prepare the minor. I call mixolidian B9 B13, is the same. But I think u forget to talk about the augmented arpeggios, intervals of major 3, very helpful in harmonic and melodic minor, is the basic elements. But u still find examples I didn't expect... thanks for the explanations. I really like yours videos is so easy to understand. Thanks again master.

Great lesson. A plug for Tomasso course on mastering chords. After following his channel for about a year I decided to take his course. His teaching fits my learning. In a short 3 weeks I’ve expanded my theory literacy. It’s work. But it’s fun to see how the musical pieces of the puzzle fit. Plenty more to learn but it’s been rewarding.

I'm a bit stuck here. I have this progression and it goes Am9>Caug>Dm6/A>EmMaj7. How is it that this sounds correct to me but there is no F#/Eb in A harmonic minor, making the last chord incorrect? Maybe I'm looking at this wrong, here's the exact tab 5795xx . Xx10.998 . Xx7767 . 079667 I also note that the dm6/A could be a Baug but it's the last chord which is a problem. It seems like the correct resolve to my ear and I dont understand why?

I don't understand the desire to have all the notes in a scale in a chord for harmony. It's like every time a note is played in the melody that note has to be in the DNA of the harmonising chord.
Bob Marley's Exodus is a one chord song, if I remember correctly. I can't imagine that the whole melody of the song uses just the 3 notes in Am. Maybe I should check that.
And it's not like it's not a great song either.
