That's because he actually learned how to sing. He's got classical training.
@caty moonlight they can sing but there is still a difference between classical and what these guys normally do. Classical music doesn't normally have scoops, dips or vibrato like many metal and rock singers. A big part of classical is hitting each note exactly like he does very well in the video. I don't think he meant any disrespect but I don't think it was said in the best way

Bucket List. Before I die, I WILL attend Wacken Open Air. We have nothing like this in the states, not playing awesome metal anyway.

We do have a few rock festivals, but nothing on the scale of Wacken. We seriously need to step up our game.
My husband actually have a plan to make a huge trip out of it, going to Wacken, hitting up Sabaton Open Air (its usually the weekend right after Wacken), and then making some pit stops in different countries as we make our way back to the US.
DO IT!! It was my dream to go since elementary school, thank God i was there last year hearing this same song, it is never to young or to old to go! That is the beauty of metal! And if u need friends u will always meet people from all over the world that shares the same music taste!!

@@markolumovic2750 Well some Sabaton songs are very hard due to their incredible pace, like Midway, Ghost Division, Talvisota, Attack of The Dead Men, Great War (very deep and goes to high), Ghost in The Trenches, Art of War, Gott Mitt Uns, Carolus Rex (SV), Karolinens Bön, Poltava (SV ans ENG), Uprising, Panzerkampf, Attero Dominatus, Nuclear Attack, Metal Crüe/Machine/Ripper, Primo Victoria, Konungens Likfard, Lejonat Från Nörden, Angels Calling.
I love them all btw

Powerwolf is one of those few bands that actually sound better live than on studio production. It is a pleasure to see then live.

I already had the pleasure of witnessing two Sabaton concerts (one in Jan 2020, before it reached Germany :D) but Powerwolf has eluded me so far...aand I cant wait till I can see them. Because one of my coworkers already saw them and said they are awesome :D

So a very new fan of Powerwolf. I had heard of them and heard a song from them awhile back. But this song made me into a fan, even though I heard a cover by Imperial Age first. I now have plans to buy three cds from their catalog in the next couple of months!

Rock and metal singers all had to start small, and thus grew with setbacks as this is a small corner of music. That's why their careers last for decades. Which is not the case in pop music. It's much more fast-paced and also much more linked to sales figures. And is always adapted to the market in the current face. This is no longer really about being tall but about profit that has to be there very quickly.
I am now an official POWERWOLF fan!
