Absolutely, I'm 100 % sure Kim didn't sleep that night. He knew exactly that he has to end it in the morning, so he probably stared the whole night at Chay trying to remember his warmth, his smell, the weight of his body....😭😭😭😭😭😭
Kim's love for Chay is his most heartwarming aspect. Normally, he is aloof, manipulative, silent and strategic. But where Chay is involved, his facade of apathy melts away. His overpowering love for Chay that prompts him to fiercely protect Chay at all times is his most fascinating aspect. Jeff and Barcode have done justice to the roles, and it is a delight to witness their story on screen.

These two just make me smile. It's just so amazing that such an innocent love story made it's way into such a violent and sexy series, and it still fits. I find myself hoping to see a Kim/Chay scene in every episode.

I’ll be honest, when I started the series it was living life for Kinn and Porsche. Then Vegas and Pete swooped in and have had my heart since. Kim and Chay have slipped under the radar for me, though I thought it was super sweet. Seeing the collage of their moments hits like a sucker punch - they are such a great ship!

I would have liked to see more of them in the series, I liked the ending they gave us because it leaves a lot of good material for a next season and it also warns us of Chay's strong and determined peesonality that characterizes him so much in the book.... On the other hand, I would like to see in the following season a better focus on Kim's potential and the reason why his father feared him so much; in the book Kim is a character that really causes fear, he is a total psychopath and his level of intelligence makes him the perfect leader (that in the words of Korn himself), that is mainly what makes you see such a stark contrast in his acting with Chay and his acting with the rest of the world; Chay calms him down, gives him peace, on the other hand, with any other character, Kim can become meanly hostile and even heartless... Hopefully they give us more of that in the next season, i'm crossing my fingers for it.

Maybe Kim realizes Chay needs to grow up a little more. Taking a chance that he will still want Kim.
I don't think Kim ever had the intention to date Chay or he thought that he can have someone as pure as Chay to himself. His intention from the very beginning was to use him to get information about Porsche and then to leave with no ifs and buts. He had a very clear plan and someone as determined and self-controlled as him always follows his plans without being swayed by emotions. But then he started to develop feelings, he became 'selfish', he wanted to keep Chay by his side just a little bit longer. To be honest, Kim knew from their first guitar lesson that Chay doesn't hide anything as he searched through his phone. But he still made excuses to see him again, for example to search for evidences in his house (they also had a lot of meeting and guitar lessons in between according to Polaroids). And there he knew for sure that Chay isn't hiding anything. But then again, he asked Chay for a love song, knowing exactly that it would be 'his' song. Kim became greedy and selfish for Chay, he started to act like he never did before, he was affected by someone like he never did before.
He knows exactly that Chay doesn't belong in his world, that Chay doesn't know his true nature but still he (who is always emotionless and self-controlled) gives in to this boy every time. He can't help but accepts his confession, he spends a night with Chay in his arms. Because for the first time in his life he can't fight his feelings and those memories will keep him going forward later. He will cherish it (like Chay's Polaroids in this small black box) in his heart forever.
But he knows he has to let go sooner or later. For their both sakes. For Chay's safety and keeping him away from his dark world. And for Kim not letting himself to have a weakness, to return to his comfort zone where he is cold-blooded and self-controlled. He probably hoped that Chay's teen crush on him wasn't that serious (Chay didn't even knew his true nature, he fell for Wik and fell even harder for Kim but he still doesn't know Kimhan Theerapanyakul), he hoped Chay will get over him very soon.
Did you see this video of Jeff (translation above)? As he couldn't stop crying after the scene where he storms out of the studio when Chay sings for him in his memories? He says a lot about Kim's feelings for Chay:

Long story short: Kim didn't want Chay to change and he never thought he was worthy of someone like Chay but he couldn't stop himself from basking in his warmth a little bit longer.

Oh nonono~ don't hate on Kim! He is just new to the whole love and affection thing and he is trying to do what's best for Chay (staying away from him = being safe) and himself (going back to his safe zone where he doesn't loose his self-control because of this little sunshine and to continue the investigation in order to keep his family (and Chay) safe). Kim is a very complex character, he doesn't act like that only to hurt Chay. He loves him, there is no doubt about it.
Even though we all want to slap Kim (with love) for breaking Chay's heart🤭😆

Любимки! ❤️ В моем понимании Чэй намного сильнее, чем простой наивный, неиспорченный малыш. Он рос, глядя на то как в их дом постоянно врываются гангстеры, избивают его дядю (скорее всего и Порша и возможно даже его самого). При этом постоянно смотреть как твой старший брат изнашивает себя учебой/работой/нелегальными подработками для твоего содержания/образования тоже очень тяжёлый моральный груз. То, что он вырос таким солнечным и позитивным - чудо! Однако я считаю, что это тоже своего рода некая маска (так как он не хочет добавлять проблем брату, он безгранично его любит и благодарен ему. Поэтому и ведёт себя прилежно, хорошо учится, всегда на позитиве). Чэй намного глубже в моем понимании. Он парень сильный и всё же с очень ранимым внутренним миром. Ему сейчас очень тяжело, его ранило не только окончание отношений, но и то, что его музыку использовали против него: чтобы обмануть, заманить. Ким - тот, кто вдохновлял его. Тот ради кого он захотел обучаться музыке. Но я считаю, что он как феникс и станет только сильнее. Найдёт свое настоящее я. Он сильный малыш и он под стать такому же сильному Киму ❤️

😥 the first time I saw KinnPorsche I really hated the Theerapanyakul men ~ now that I have watched it over 5x I can say out of 7 only 2 are innocent ~ when one of them says they love you, you are in for a world of pain ~ irregardless of the scary things in vol-2 of K/P I would like to see Porchay & Kim together 'but' only on Porchay's Terms 🥲
