Oh my goodness, poor Daniel.😢..muscle recovery is so much slower as one ages. Hopefully you will be better in 2 days or so. I imagine that you will pace yourself a little better next time. Don't hurt your self Daniel !!

Congratulations!!! I know it's not the time you wanted but to finish what you started feeling the way you did is amazing. I know the feeling and wasn't able to hold it together at the end🤢. The fact that you run, talk and video while doing a marathon is incredible. Lauren and Dash, ya'll were the best motivators. Oh Daniel o felt for you, you are definitely a trooper for not giving up because I sure would’ve 🤷🏿♀️. I cracked up when you said you wheels on the bus fell off🤣 but the funniest was when you kept seeing the finish line and it wasn’t 😂

We did! It was ~ 1-2 miles from the flat. But, it's usually a good distance to walk/jog to get ready and stretch the muscles. That being said, nothing was going to help this time. 😭

I'm so sorry you had such a tough time. But love how Lauren (and Dash) supported and encouraged you so you could finish. That's more than most people could do. So be proud of yourself, and be optimistic about having a better, easier time of it in London.

Watching you Daniel in the middle you were hurting but you were smiling. At the end man, the look on your face said it all. Congratulations on finishing. It would have been easy to stop but you didn’t. I hope your not hurting to bad the next day!!
Daniel you are a super man for pushing through to the finish! Great attitude despite the pain. Anyone who has done a marathon can relate. It hurts but the joy of finishing lasts forever🙌

Congratulations on finishing the race. Wonder why this one was harder than Disney? Seemed like you did a lot of training before the race. Dash is so happy and we love how you play with him. He is such a ray of sunshine thanks to you two great parents!
