- Alright, let’s do a deck interview!!
I FINALLY received my Fyodor Pavlov tarot deck and it is STUNNING! I’m so excited to work with it but first, I need to do a deck interview.
Not too long ago, one of you commented on one of my videos requesting that I show how I perform a deck interview/what my process looks like. And so, today, we are going to do just that!
The video is divided up into two portions:
- The first is a deck flip-through because I ALWAYS look through the cards when I first get a deck
- And the second portion is the actual interview process and questions

I find the meanings you find in cards incredibly interesting, because I, coming from a queer tarot backgroud, have completely different meaning for many cards.
i really noticed it here with the ten of pentacles, cause that's a card I have a very strong connection with and is for me a card that is about being part of community. Firstly of the smallest unit of community, your found family, but also the bigger community and therefore belonging to something that's bigger than yourself.
It's about the secruity and stability you get by having a found family and being part of a community and in turn helping others in your community and effecting positive change
Leaving the world in a better state than you found it in, no matter how small your personal positive impact might have been, because we are not alone. Small changes by a lot of people can add up to make the life for the next generation so much easier.
Oh my gosh 💙 I love this interpretation so much! I can totally see it. I think it’s fascinating how we all have our own experiences and perspectives that shape how we see the cards 😁

Do you journal the interviews into your tarotjournal or do you have a journal specifically for interviews?
Thank you for sharing - I definatly like to see more videos like this. Also, I really liked that you did a split screen when you talked about the cards in the spread. I haven’t seen that before on tarotube But it worked really well!

I’m glad you liked it! And I jot down my interviews in my journal. Sometimes I scrapbook them and sometimes I just write it down 😅
And I actually have mostly water sign decks!
I've wanted this deck since it was an indie deck. It's gorgeous & has a vintage feel. I just got.mine with the US Games sale they had. I was going to do an unboxing video & got busy. Yours popped up & love your interview process. I'm so simple I cleanse with smoke & incense & just ask the deck what it wants me to know about it & how it reads & how it wants to work with me. Love it's a scorpio! The blue is so pretty & watery. The muted colors are soft yet the images are deep & beautiful. I've got several scorpio placements & notice other scorpio sun or moons seem drawn to similar decks.

@@AmeliaJWilson olwmoon513 is racine on youtube she's a Taurus sun Scorpio moon great deck collection. Dani mystic is a Cancer sun scorpio moon another great collection & Lisa papez is i think Cancer sun Libra rising or Libra moon loves beautiful watery deep decks & has of course a great collection.
Based on the interview the deck feels like a Capricorn or a Scorpio sign.
The Devil represents materialism, lust, overindulgence, taboo, addictions. Capricorn covers the materialistic part and the sexual overindulgence. While Scorpio covers obsession, paranoia, the addictions, the loss of emotional control.
"The world" as a weakness, makes me feel like it doesn't like endings. Those two signs and their opposites (Taurus and Cancer) have the greatest difficulty to let go/end something. "The fool" reversed dislikes beginnings or jumping into action carelessly, without considering things rationally and carefully. Capricorn and Scorpio are like that the most. Overall it has a serious, earthy, dark, heavy energy which makes those 2 signs the most possible ones imo.
I LOVE this interpretation! I’ve had it for awhile and it’s definitely a scorpio deck, so all of this makes 100% sense to me! 😂💙

I’m not here to hate or be negative (because I think you’re really sweet and you deserve nice things) but intuitively to me this deck doesn’t feel very nice and I don’t think it has the best intentions for you… but that’s just me…
