  • In this video the 2JZ MK3 Supra gets a new fan clutch. After discovering persistent residue in the front of the engine bay after short drives I started looking into potential cause and discovered that the fan clutch was leaking. Once the clutch is replaced I perform a quick test and share how the fan sounds during a cold start.

Thanks for sharing! Very helpful. If you don't mind me asking, which fan clutch and fan combo did you go with with the 2J swap?

Thank you for your feedback. With space being at a premium, I am using a modified LS400 clutch. I ended up buying one from Driftmotion ( www.driftmotion.com/Modified-LS400-Fan-Clutch-p/dm724.htm ). The fan is a new factory non turbo 7 blade for 7MGE. I would suggest running the modified clutch because it adapts the most condensed clutch for use with the 2GZGTE - where depth is at a minimum.
