Unfortunately we didn't catch it in time and he passed about a month after we found out about the cancer. My heart goes out to you and your family and I will be keeping your family in my prayers. Been at this for fourteen years and I have a lot of recipes posted that use only sweet potatoes or fruit to sweeten breakfast cookies, bars etc. I hope you might find them helpful!
My grandpa died of cancer... So we know the pain.. I went vegan for animals.. but hearing it could help reduce my chances (not completely eliminate) of getting cancer.. And worry not he'll recover!

Sorry to hear that. I wish him full recovery. I don't know if it can help him but calcium lactate helped me this year with tongue and throat problems. I take the powder diluted in hot water 6g a day. Helped me a lot. It's on sell in powder or in pills which is expensive but you can get it in powder and it's very affordable 👍
He’s had a sore on his tongue for years called lichen plantis. We had it checked for cancer a few years ago and it came back clear. But it changed over time.
I am sorry your family is going through this. You'll get through it! If you haven't yet, you may want to look into the work of Dr. Valter Longo. He did research on cancer patients fasting through chemo therapy. And it reduced severity of symptoms, but more importantly made chemo more effective. You would need to look into this yourselves if you'd like to know more. He is a longevity expert and also plant-based because of the science showing that it is best for health and longevity. I know. We had no idea tongue cancer was a thing. So grateful we caught it early and he’s doing well eating and talking!

We are very open to fasting as a form of healing. He did a couple day fast before his surgery. We’ll look into him!
