To specify: game mechanics show that whenever you look at a camera that is not the one he is on (East Hall Corner); he will move into the office. This is called a Movement Opportunity. If the door is closed, he will not be able to enter and remains in the East Hall Corner to trigger another Movement Opportunity. If the door is open, Freddy will attack you and you will die. Hope this clears some things up and educates some people! :)

Funny how the strategy used here for this challenge completely misunderstood Foxy. You don't actually have to look at him in Pirate's Cove; merely general camera usage slows him down. So you could use this to look at Freddy in the east hall and prevent him from ever entering your office, and only occasionally close the right door so you can use the camera to look at Foxy, to make sure he's still in his cove. It saves your power, it saves you the chance that you miss the button for the east door, and it saves you 7 hours of grueling trial and error, like our friend Mark had to endure.
The best part is phone guy mentioned you don't need to look at him and just using the cameras was enough to slow him down.

The funny thing is that Freddy's actually easier to deal with here than in any other game in the series (outside of 4/20 mode, of course); as long as you keep checking the Show Stage camera regularly, you can effectively stun-lock him in place and render him utterly harmless. I used this strategy in nights 3-6 and he didn't move once.
Every single time I try, Bonnie or Chica jams my door when they are there at 12 AM. My total fail count: 17 Bonnie, 3 Chica, 2 Freddy, 0 Foxy.
The nostalgia...remembered watching this when I was 12 and discovered mark... I am 18 now it's nice to rewatch again

I still find it so funny that Mark was so happy to complete the 20/20 mode he didn't notice that he got fired. Lmao.
There is a theory going around that Foxy is actually a good guy. When he runs to your room, it is theorized that he is only coming to check on you, the reason why he screams is because the thing that projects sound from him is broken. If you check his camera too little, he gets paranoid that you died, so he comes to check up on you. If you check on him too much, he assumes that you're paranoid, and he comes to assure you that he means no harm. The reason why you die when he comes in the door is because Mike Schmidt (the main character, or the character you play as) dies of a heart attack when he appears through the door and screams, and one of the other animatronics comes to stuff you in the suit (Bonnie, Chica, or Freddy).

If you've played FNaF 4/20 mode enough, you know. I've been trying to beat it for about five hours (taking a break to watch Mark do it) and you just know. And here's how: He left the door open. If you leave the door open and flip up the camera in 4/20 mode, death is inevitable. Freddy WILL come in your office, and he WILL kill you. I can't stress enough the importance of putting down that right door EVERY SINGLE TIME you flip up the camera. If you don't, Freddy kills you. Done. It's set and stone. He will. No questions asked. Leaving door open = Freddy killing you. The end.

0:29 honestly looking back to this point it’s kind of wild how camstalling completely revolutionized the meta for this mode. It went from constantly watching Foxy and closing the right door every single time while juggling Bonnie and Chica to “check Foxy when Chica’s at the door and leave the camera on Freddy so he can never move.” Also no longer always requires luck on the blackout because it’s not impossible to end the run with 5% or so power
