Familiar with the hack in question. Meant to be a more closer conversion of the arcade with the appropriate attract screens, more stages, Sheeva, and more voice samples than the original console ports. If I recall (besides Human Smoke), the hack also includes Chameleon and Cyber Sub-Zero as hidden characters.
Plus two bosses (Shao Kahn and Motaro) are playable for both single and multiplayer mode in the hacked version too.
I definitely recommend the 0.71 version of the hack, which is the latest one as far as I know. It has a lot of graphical improvements over this version. A lot of developers cut corners with retail MD ports sadly when the hardware could handle so much more.

A versão 0.71 teve mais melhorias em relação a v0.6.
No estágio do cemitério o chão foi refeito e ta perfeito a textura do chão foi melhorado, também o movimento de parallax scrolling do chão conforme vai andando com os personagens nesse cenário.
Já o cenário Waterfront também conhecido como River Kombat o rio corre se movimenta igual a versão do Arcade e não mais somente com aquele efeito parallax scrolling quando os personagens se movimentam.
Podia fazer um vídeo comparando os cenários da versão ultimate MK3 original do Megadrivre com o desse Hack de preferência a versão 0.71, os cenários que ficaram de fora na versão original do Ultimate MK3 do Mega Drivre devido não ter espaço no cartucho e coisas como no cenário The Temple aquele cenário da igreja com as velas que na versão ultimate original do Mega Drivre elas foram removidas e foram restauradas nessa hack.
Teve algumas melhorias no cenários da parte últimate como no cenário Scorpion's Lair foi acrescentado chamas nos pilares do fundo do cenário igual ao Arcade, outras melhorias foram feitas em outros Stages dessa hack.
O que eu sinto falta é o Scopion sem as falas "Get over here!" ou "Come Here!" Ficou faltando ainda isso nessas hacks , pelomenos uma das duas falas.

It's pathetic that even if they had the opportunity to do that it wouldn't have happened it's all about money. They throw a game out just to get the sale and call it quits. Hell I was still a fan when it came back out on PlayStation 3. And there was a glitch on the goro stage music which should have been a quick patch. They couldn't even fix that. Fuck them, or actually fuck Ed boon and the other people that created it, they can shove those Mortal Kombat movies up all their freaking butts, woke crap
@@DUKETACTICS333 Yes, unfortunately ... they played it crooked on us back then, the new movie sucks but at least this hack that was done by a fan is worth it. Sometimes we have a better image of what a thing should be like.

im more impressed at the fact someone can go back into the game and modify it, and recode. that hack is damn near perfect with the the hardware capabilities, im wondering how you would go about reworking the music and audio

Well I guess you can say that the hack looks nearly 100% Arcade accurate aside from the Graveyard theme not included, but overall it's the perfect port.

I dont have any idea about the bios. But you can get this hack working with a modified Gens made by this hack's creators themselves. If you bring me an email i can send you the modofied Gens

The MD soundchip was not utilised properly for the music.If they used similar synth used in the labrynth stage of revenge of shinobi, it could have been astounding.

Sheeva tiene brutality,alguien sabe?se realiza de la misma manera que en MKT?está muy bueno el hack ,faltaría mejorar la inteligencia artificial ,sobre todo en la dificultad por ejemplo cuando se hace un salto con patada o puño la CPU te aplica el uppercut en el aire y no recién cuando caes al suelo y arreglar cosas como con algunos lanzamientos de ataques o fireball te alcanzan incluso agachado como el ataque especial de Kabal y Ermac ,el fireball de Sindel ,Kabal,Sub-Zero,Ermac alcanzan a Liu Kang cuando este lanza su dragon fire agachado y el fireball de Shao Kahn no alcanza a Sub-Zero sin mascara cuando lanza su hielo,estos bugs facilitaban la jugabilidad del juego en genesis ,en snes no tengo idea como era.Saben si sería posible hacer más grande y alto a Motaro como en arcade?,el Motaro de las versiones domésticas siempre me pareció algo pequeño
Nossa, melhoraram e muito a versão do MEGA, agora os background são tão detalhados quanto a da versão do SNES, é impossível não notar a diferença.
Só queria que tivesse um jeito de fazer uma melhora no som também, seria interessante se alguém conseguisse fazer um port para o Sega CD.

Não ia ter port para o Snes, foi decidido aos 45 minutos do segundo tempo, kkkkk. Quanto aos ports muita coisa foi retirada (inclusive vozes) pela falta de espaço no cartucho e não pela limitação dos consoles de 16 bits.

v0.6 crashes a lot, BUT v0.71 has fixed the most of bugs and crashes. Also it includes more Kombat Kodes and many graphical improvements.
The sound is wrong, wrong side, like always.

Ain, os jogos de MK da era playstation, em 3D são horríveis. Bom mesmo é o UMK3. O melhor MK já feito. Daí corta pra uma gameplay como essa, que é a plausível para 1p, somente zerável com Sub-Zero (a não ser que você seja tão viciado quando o Speed), com 2 rounds socando o ar com HP contra Motaro. Diversão total.

@@greensun1334 well, there is a brazilian guy who is working in a SNES UMK3 hack, he basically added animalities, playable Sheeva, and all the missing MK3 stages. He is doing an excellent job, but it's a work in progress yet despite he already released a beta rom

Arcade intro, more characters (Shiva being the big draw), far more voice clips, more stages, Animalities, added background details here and there.

@@2009lucho 😂 Lol, No, I don't expect that much, but before saying my thoughts I have to say that I was Genesis fanboy until I compared Shao Kahn stage on SNES I have to say that SNES port is better. Just these days we have finally seen that Genesis is Blast Processing, it just didn't have skilled programmers and a comfortable death line back then.
I'm actually still Genesis fanboy, I have so much faith on it because of talented programmers these days porting incredible games without cartridge enhancement chips like SuperFX or DSP or whatever, you name it.
