As a Mexican, I’m 24 (turning 25 this August) and I’ve been following this team since I was 10. Out of all the 14+ years I’ve been following this team and even having the privilege to see a few of their games in person, this is the worst I’ve ever seen in the last 14+ years. My relationship with this team has been strained since the 2022 World Cup, and I really thought that getting knocked out of the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup would give Mexico a massive reality check, but no! They continue to chase quantity over quality and nothing changed. If Mexico gets knocked out of the group stage, I won’t be watching another Mexico game until June 11, 2026, in other words, the opening game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. As for Venezuela, fair play to them genuinely and I really wish them the best and hopefully qualify for their first ever World Cup.
Completely understand how you feel
@@RyanAnderson27 I appreciate your understanding! I prioritize my well being and it’s beginning to get to point where it’s starting to become too toxic for me to continue supporting my national team, so I have to draw the line. Only time will tell if things would get better for Mexico, but by the looks of things, things are only going to get worse before it gets better. On the flip side, at least my San Diego Padres swept the Nationals today, but even then, the Padres are a mid tier team at best.
I’ve been watching Mexico since the 1970s and they have always been world class and had world class players. The past few years they keep falling in quality. It’s like Chichiritos generation is the last of world class players and strikers. Let’s see if there are any great players coming in soon !
Ryan, I miss the days of when Mexico was good. In fact, like I told you, for my whole life up until I was 13 years old in 2017, I had always thought that Mexico would never be horrible team and would always be a great team forever or until at least the day I die. That was all until I was 13 years old in 2017 and watching Mexico’s reserve team play in the 2017 Gold Cup. Mexico’s overall performance in that Gold Cup opened up my eyes and gave me a reality check about the future of the national team. Their overall performance in that tournament showed me that Mexico’s golden generation only has a few years left because eventually, the reserve team that Mexico used in the tournament will eventually have to take over, and that reserve team ABSOLUTELY SUCKED ASS IN THAT TOURNAMENT! That performance by that team was an early warning sign (to me at least) about the future of the team…
Exactly
Ryan sing amarillo by morning
Ryan, now you understand how us Mexico fans feel about El Tri, FMF, and Televisa because Toronto FC and the directors at Toronto FC basically does almost all of the same shit that the FMF, Televisa, and this Mexico team does 😂😂😂
I sure do understand
There’s absolutely 0 accountability
VAMOS VENEZUELA!!!! Lol 🇻🇪 congratulations on the win yall played a very good game. Yall played a hard and tough game your keeper is very good you got good attacking pieces like Rondon who was cooking tonight scored that PK but yeah good stuff Venezuela.
They played damn well
❤ hermano is singing full house at 14:21
The fun of these videos is you don't know where i'll go with it
Ryan, since you said that you predicted (waaaay before COVID (or at least I thought you said you predicted this before COVID started in 2019)) that the 2022 World Cup qualification cycle for Mexico wouldn’t be as good as people thought it would be, what was the early warning sign that you saw in El Tri in the past that opened your eyes about the future of the team?
2014 WC qualifying, 2017 GC and the late 2020 friendlies…
Venezuela deserves the w and Mexico deserve LLL
I agree
Ryan, if everything goes Canada’s way on Saturday and qualifies for the quarterfinals, do you think Canada can beat this Venezuela team (since Canada will most likely earn 2nd place and will most likely face Venezuela in the quarterfinals) in your unbiased opinion?
I think they can
But hey, the fmf got there 💰 so Mexico is doing great apparently and they can promote club America
Exactly
Mexico is gone out of the group stage and jimmy is bye bye terrible loss
Mexico you were a joke tonight once again that game against Jamaica the previous one was a flash in a pan you went backwards again this team is an embarrassment has been for many years now this is just straight facts the Sky IS FALLING for you MEXICO the SKY IS FALLING LOL 😆😆😆😆
Its absolutely disgraceful
They are not beating Ecuador I if they do it’s gonna be like some terrible call by the ref
Probably right
I claim fluke
It ain’t, El Tri got problems
Venezuela played a more intelligent game.Mexico was predictable.you could almost predict their passes and where the ball is going next
