Episode 21 Bad Attitude C-10 gets a Master Cylinder Upgrade & a Wilwood Proportional Valve

  • The new master cylinder upgrade and Wilwood Proportional valve will have us stopping on a dime.
    Follow along as we rebuild our 67 Bad Attitude C-10 from the ground up while sharing the components being used and their install. Once the truck is done, we will be taking you along for the Drag and Drive events we attend as well as other racing and Car Shows.
    The Drag and Drive Events will allow me to compete in racing again to fill a void in my life since my accident. Just to watch and see how racers and spectators alike have become so much more involved in Drag and Drive Events, I feel that its camaraderie and fellowship is second to none. Don't get me wrong, a Drag Racing Family is awesome, but a Gear Head World is flat out Cool!

    Nice work sir! That is my favorite proportioning valve for brakes, have one on my c10 and it's been no games, no fuss, and works great.

    If you would have made the spacers that stand off the proportioning valve off the bracket the same length as the bushings used in the master cylinder you could have used the supplied lines.

      That is actually incorrect, the distance between the ports on the Master Cylinder were actually wider as well. The Kit I purchased was designed for a Wilwood Master Cylinder, which, I do not have. If you watched the full video, you would have seen where I did add spacers between the Proportional valve and its mounting bracket.

    I just installed a CPP power brake conversion on my 70 C10 and the prop valve is leaking where the 9/16 18 inverted flare adapter threads into the rear. Very aggravating. Waiting for their tech support to call me back.

      That Sux! Hopefully they get back to you about the issue pretty quick. I went with the master cylinder a company called, The Right Stuff had sent for my Camaro build from years ago. Building on a budget sometimes makes us use some Hand Me Downs. 😂🤣 I'll have to go check out your channel and look at your C10.
