In this video you will see some French Ring obedience, such as Heeling with Muzzle, Thrown Retrieve and Seen Retrieve. As well as BITE WORK, Revolver Attack, Face Attack, Stopped Attack, Defense of Handler and Object Guard! Overall a good sparring session!

    Hey man, I am been honest with you…… You are probably the only and best trainer ever I see in my life. Because your dog work with you in such extremely excitation and at the same time so much obedience that I never saw.
    Jasper shall be one of the best in USA, Canada and no one knows, probably the entire world.

    I have a 4 month old malinois and I’m wondering how do you teach your dogs the out command?

    • @AndyKrueger
      @AndyKrueger  Před 3 lety +5

      I like to first either exchange for food, or teach ‘Switch’ where they out the toy to get another toy of equal value. Goal being to teach them letting go restarts this fun game 👍🏻

    Hello mr Krueger can you tell me what is the difference in performance between male and female at higher level in French ring. Thanks in advance.

    • @AndyKrueger
      @AndyKrueger  Před 3 lety +2

      I do not believe there is any difference in performance between male and female. As long as it’s the right dog with good training they can perform equally 🙌🏻

    @paulaboudrot9498 Před 3 lety +2

    I love it😍👏 that controle is on absolute point. My 4months old malinois is getting to master the heal at rhe moment. But do you have to make them sit everytime you stop moving?

    • @AndyKrueger
      @AndyKrueger  Před 3 lety +3

      It is not required in the rules to sit, as long as they stop and maintain Heel position. Automatic sit is just a personal preference 👍🏻

  • @kayleenelsen1280
    @kayleenelsen1280 Před rokem +1

    All the video I see of protection dogs, they are going after decoys in bite suits...how do you transition them from that to biting someone who is not in a bite suite (in a military or police or just home/owner scenario)?

    • @kayleenelsen1280
      @kayleenelsen1280 Před rokem

      Just to clarify, I am not trying to teach my dog to bite people. I am just genuinely curious, as it seems what the dogs LOVE is going after the suit (like it is a giant tug toy) but a real arm or leg would feel different?

    • @AndyKrueger
      @AndyKrueger  Před rokem

      Sport training vs Protection training are two different animals. Generally speaking, you cannot have both. You need completely different genetics and training to do either 🙏🏼

  • @micahtucker5202
    @micahtucker5202 Před 3 lety +2

    Is the dog always going for the leg in French ring or are there times he bites the arm as well?

    • @AndyKrueger
      @AndyKrueger  Před 3 lety +2

      A French Ring dog should bite anywhere on the suit. Because the decoy is trying to dodge/ evade the dog, their primary target is the legs bc one will always have to be on the ground. Unlike arms/ upper body. Keeping all four of the dog’s legs grounded allows them to change direction at the very last second if needed. Unlike upper body, once the dog launches, they cannot change direction after that. It’s also safer for the dogs to miss the entry (get esquived) staying low rather than launch high and miss or slip their grip. Ring 3 requires the dog to have a very complex bite strategy. This is what makes FR one of the most difficult dog sports 🇫🇷⚔️🤙🏼

    • @AndyKrueger
      @AndyKrueger  Před 3 lety +2
