I decided to dig deeper into Beluga’s backstory….and it shouldn’t surprise you that this guy is a lot smarter than it seems. In fact, Beluga has pretty much discovered the new blueprint for how to grow a youtube channel. He used 4 steps beat the algorithm.
The thing is when Beluga first started his channel, it was unclear what his strategy was…I mean his first videos included a reaction to a man running from a goose, a random minecraft documentary and a commentary video on dream.
Right now a lot of people say youtube is too competitive. And there is some truth behind this, there has never been more creators competing for the same audience….But here’s the good thing, the youtube algorithm rewards great videos, and beluga had a growth spark
A lot of people think getting a shoutout from a larger channel is like hitting the jackpot, but if the content you’re making isn’t already optimized, it can have the opposite effect...So how did Beluga make videos that the algorithm loved?...Well that takes us on to step 2 - Beluga became the session time king
Everything we’ve discussed so far is Important, but there’s something missing that in my opinion is the main reason Beluga gained 4 million subscribers in 3 months. Which takes us on to step 3 - Beluga discovered title and thumbnail strategy.

I think the discord pings play a massive role. People get happy/excited when they hear a discord ping because normally it means someone messaged them. So similar to a dog salivating at the ring of a bell, the discord ping demands their attention and automatically gives off positive vibes.

He is certainly smart, but today there are also many ways of growing your number of subs. Especially if you have brand new channel, it is vital to get over that threshold of 1000 subs. There is so many tools that designed for this (I am using a little bit of Famester). It really helped me to take off my channel.

I hit 1.1 mil in 1 year. A few good key points in this vid. The thumbs shown where you need to click for the reward is key. The short titles also key. Also in todays day and age with shorts and tik tok, viewer attention is very short. Shorter videos do better and stick with the same subject, especially if you see one vid do well. Consistency is also key. Upload everyday, twice a day if you can.

I've seen way too many underrated creators who make quality content but never blew up
By quality he doesn’t just reference the video itself, but the attraction and click-rate of the thumbnails and titles…yeah most of us viewers probably wouldn’t define that as quality, but as far as big platforms such as CZcams that are dependent on click rate and exposure for advertisers are concerned, that is what most directly matters to them.
quality as in click through rates, and watch times. If everybody is leaving the youtuber's video in short amounts of time its not quality in youtubes eyes.

Beluga's growth was definitely not an accident. He worked hard and is a YT genius. I watched his growth from when he was at 1M. The videos may look very simple, but any youtuber can tell those videos are very hard to execute.

Then ELD hacked his channel. Both of them were in the wrong, because Daniel was saying he bought followers with not much proof besides his massive growth, but hacking someone is definitely too far. If I can find the thread I’ll show you.

All of the people who break the algorithm had a lot of experience on the platform before their attempt.

That implies that CZcams is either legitimately meritocratic, or that the only reliable way to break into the mainstream is to have a lot of eyeballs to begin with. Idk which one is more accurate, but both of them combined clearly gives you the best shot at not failing.

Buy some bots and you will grow your subs overnight. Not that hard.
You just need to ensure you pay for some comments as well, otherwise people will start doubting, but it pays off in the long run.

Kids (especially loser kids who live on the internet and watch shitty videos) love feeling like they are a part of something so they will click the subscribe button and think they are part of some community, that doesn't mean anything or have any importance

Bruh. He explains the very point of a thumbnail and a title. He is turning this into a fucking long ass video portraying Beluga as some mastermind. All it is is proper advertisement and exploitation of previous success. In other words, he is just having perfect execution of a similar plan that almost every other CZcamsr follows. The analysis is simple. But people like him can make it seem like a fucking manipulation of a matrix. It is quite simple if you think about it.

Nice breakdown of this, I didn't realize how quickly his channel exploded. Important to keep in mind that he'd basically done this before though so he knows what may work best. Still, 4 million subscribers is no joke and I just saw he's closing in on 10 million now, wow.
