The revolver also has on of the best reskins, the Big Kill. Only problem is unless you want to shill out 800 USD for some blue text, it's only available in yellow text.

It's gunmettle and tough break skins and festive are pretty good too (although I like the look of the festive amby more than the festive stock)

Stock revolver gunspy is still good, even to this day. I'm practicing every day nothing but a gun and a pocket watch and my aim has improved by quite a bit, and its improved my finishing skills with other revolvers as well! Thank wooly boy!
Exactly, you don't have to backstab everyone. 3 revolver shots can kill a sniper, scout, engie and spy. With enough ramp up you can even 3 shot Medics, demos, and pyros, though if you're that close you might as well just stab them but it's good to know.
On the point of backstabs though, after a couple the revolver has a massive chance of random crits compared to other weapons, as much as a snipers melee after a headshot I believe. That's a huge part of spies balance balance but no one ever talks about it or even knows about it because they just want backstabs.
Why aim when you can go “clicky, click, click” and immediately kill them?

How about you do the dead ringer? Soundsmith recently made a tf2 weapons stereotype about the dead ringer, and he considered it highly op. Since you are a very good highlander spy with experience, could you tell us what you think about the balance of the dead ringer. You often say the speed boost is a problem, but maybe elaborate?
speed boost is op because it removes any planning from the weapon, you put pop it whenever you want without thinking about it
the old one had no speed buff so you had to either know a safe hidden spot to recharge in, or know how to get to a big ammo pack without being seen, which people countered by just running there before you
If the speed boost is what is op about it, would you agree with Valves suggestion to remove ammo pickup? I personally don't like the idea because it takes forever to recharge.
as a guy who plays a lot of demoknight, the whole fretting about the headshot while a man with a sword almost as big as him is running at a spy typically leads to the spy's death, or they just spray and the lower damage per shot in comparison to the stock is their undoing. Whereas coming up against a stock revolver user leads to one of 2 things: my death or me barely making it out alive.

yeah when i got the ambie for the longest time i couldn't use the stock due to the model destracting me becasue it is just worst looking and the black caused issues when i looked at it in the corner of my eye. thankfully ive gotten better with it and use it very frequently
I _never_ hear anybody ever talk about Revolver's overall time to kill on Engie buildings. If L'Etranger didn't give free cloak, I'd just say stock is best just for the ability to kill buildings with it.
Where can I get this hud? I tried getting the one on banana... something? But I had a weird menu on top that disabled my 1-5 keys...
Bigger question is, why isn't there an Australium Revolver?

That was me, when I got the ambassador I only used that, now I switched to the stock revolver, and I do a lot better (I'm the type of spy that doesn't disguise and only uses the revolver)

Hey Woolen I was just wondering what specs does you pc have I know tf2 doesn’t need super high end specs but I kind of want a mid ground gaming/video editing pc do you have any pc part recommendations for someone starting out
tf2 is very cpu based so having a nice i5 or i7 you can overclock would do wonders

any decently priced and decently reviewed i5 from the last couple years would do wonders
I use the stock because -I have a strange- it’s a great damage tool Incase I fail a stab or low health person in the distance
