But his UBI is not enough to overcome the big unequalities that American system seems to have (I'm not American, but USA gouverment always have implications on Latin America, and I was wishing a president that disapproves Bolsonaro, Yañez, Piñera, and ACTUALLY HELP Venezuela to find a balance; and Bernie Sanders was the only hope). Yang is not well informed on international policies, and I still think that his UBI is patching o try to give relief under crypto-capitalism, which may be more 'possible' in the short term, but not enough into the future. There wasn't even the mildest specific criticism of the violence - not of the looting, the shooting, the arson, the vandalism. None of it.
The closest Biden got to addressing the rioting was to say that while protesting is "an utterly American response" to injustice, violent wilding in the streets "is not."
That's it. That was the stinging rebuke from the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee as we watched police stations and other government buildings go up in flames.
The mobbing of CNN's headquarters in Atlanta and the shooting of seven people in Indiana so moved the former vice president that he came out to say that it didn't fall in line with what we know to be "utterly American."
Biden did not condemn the violence. Maybe the next journalist who interviews him will ask him if he'd like to.

I loved the DNC convention and it further more gave me confidence that voting for Joe Biden is the right choice to make.
Bill Confidential for me a candidate has to earn my vote. And I used to be a Trump supporter until July 14 when Trump went on a bullshit ramble I’m the rose garden and I was sitting their like “ain’t no fucking way this is the candidate I’m voting for.” So i dig deeper into Biden’s policy and I like his childcare and education policies and how families can’t spend more than 7% of the income on child caring services. I don’t agree with everything Biden is going to do but he’s the right candidate and person to lead America at this moment.
As a democrat, I have a lot of respect for John Kasich, and I'm really glad he appeared at the DNC. Regardless of his views on specific issues, this exemplifies exactly the kind of across-the-table respect and unity that we need to restore. Yes. I watched my newborn baby die in the delivery room. You cant tell me that those babies being killed aren't human and dont have human souls. They are the most fragile, sweet, and innocent among us...yet they have no voice. God forgive us of this monstrous act against your children. @Eleni 1979, the vote for Bernie in the primaries was entirely procedural. Bernie graciously announced his withdrawal from the race before the primary. He then quickly endorsed Joe. I still voted for Bernie, knowing that it wouldn't count towards the Presidency. It would only count towards the Democratic National Committees awareness, and hopefully inclusion, of Bernies leadership and input. I hope they're listening to him now.
