Long Neck Village of Huay Pu Keng

It was a most unique experience to see the Long Neck tribe, originated from Myanmar.
Located near the border of Myanmar and Thailand, there are a few ways to reach there.
I opted for the 5.5 hours drive from Chiang Mai to the town of Mae Hong Son, followed by a short boat ride across the river.

Thanks for documenting this tour! Did you rent a car with driver to go there? How much did you spend for the tour?

Yes, I did check with a number of tour operators before one was willing to drive me there for 7k bahts (to and fro Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son).
I broke up the trip into two days - spending a night in downtown Mae Hong Son before the long ride back to Chiang Mai.
I guess another possible way is to fly to Mae Hong Son Airport - but the airlines going there are limited so I didn't go with this option.
I read there is another possible option - instead of driving all the way there, you can take a boat ride for part of the journey.
But there are also other more accessible tribes nearer Chiang Mai where the journey is much shorter.
