I just put on my second tray one hour ago. I'm 48 years old and have to wear them for 2 years. It feels like an eternity, but I'm glad I'm finally doing it. First few days were really rough. Some of those plastic edges can really dig into your gums. And I've got a couple big attachments that stick out like spikes and poke into the side of my mouth. Fortunately, my mouth got used to everything after a few days. I hope this works.
I stsrt my invisalign journey this week. I can't believe how much it changes your face. So excited. Ty for your vids
I can definitely relate to the feeling of “they’re not doing anything”…I’m only on week 5 of 13…so a very short journey for me…but I don’t see any difference but as we know there most certainly will be. I can’t wait to get the damn attachments off and have my teeth bleached as I think they look a mess…but ultimately it’s a great system and very effective…the results look fantastic…even your teeth look amazing already
I feel like I’m the only one who has to wear same tray for 2 weeks & change it to new one every 2 weeks. It’s so slow. My treatment so far has 15 trays but it will take 30 weeks. And there is already talk about rubber band too :(
Thank you so much for sharing this...I just went for a consult and was told I will need rubber bands...I was very worried but you reassured me and yours are hardly visible! :)
Omg your teeth have moved so much!! I also have buttons, they fix my cross-bite so on the top they are on the inside of my mouth (towards the tongue) and on the lower teeth they are outside (towards my cheek), so I thought that was super interesting because your top ones are attached to your retainer apparently, so that's super cool!
Omg!! Amazing progress!! Wow!! Yes make follow-up!!
Your smile looks amazing ! just started mine five days ago, time goes by quick :) tnx for the vid very informative :)
Very informative!
Do they provide all the trays at once. Also, will I require follow- up with the orthodontist once I get the initial process done..
How are things now Chloe? Have you finished your treatment? Just watched all three of your videos on your Invisalign journey and curious to know how it's all coming together for you x
What do you do about drinking out with friends etc?
We need an update!
Im getting mine in the next weeks. Your videos helped me so much to get more secure about this thing. Thank you! And looking forward for more :)
And how is it about drinking coffee/tea/smoking with them?
Hey! I’m glad I’ve given some confidence. It’s only a breeze!
If you’re a heavy tea or coffee then you might struggle! Take advantage of whenever you have your retainer out because you can only drink water in them! In terms of smoking, I don’t smoke so unsure how it works. I think you can smoke in them but it might cause some staining xx

Good to know! its just all about a bit discipline I guess! And that's all in all never bad in life :)
I was all ready to do it when the orthodontist told me I’d need rubber bands. I just cannot imagine doing that again. I had braces and headgear as a kid and it brought me right back. Your teeth look amazing and the rubber bands aren’t that noticeable. I just can’t.
Omg I know the feeling !! I've recently started my Invisalign journey (only been 8 days since wearing them) and I overheard my orthodontist mentioning to the dental nurse that they're going to put me on 2 or 3 rubber bands my next check up back 😭😭 I've been watching all sorts of youtube reviews to ease my mind since
@@DasHerNellyville Ugh. Did they not warn you ahead of time! My orthodontist was so thorough he talked me right out of it. Between the attachments, the rubber bands, and the final outcome, I decided to skip it. I think if we had removed any of those factors I would have gone for it. I’d be trading lower arch crowding for a gap after 18 months of annoyance. No thanks! I hope yours goes great. I’ve heard good things.
@@AlisaMeredith It wasn't as thorough as I wanted ! And tbh, I guess on my end - I didn't realize the situation enough, smh. But I literally feel the same, unfortunately. If they had given me the run down I definitely would have turned down the suggestion (I understand there's probably health benefits & the aesthetic of straight teeth) but omg girl the hassle and struggle is real for me since having them 😵💫 Me & My Gap tooths would of been out haha. Thank you for the support though! I'm wishing my ownself luck lol~
Hi, what is the app please to see your progress? Iv just started my journey and haven’t been shown the end goal on a pic, or been told about an app. Thank you
What's the app to access the movement changes of your teeth
What about speaking? I got mine 2 days ago and I find it hard to speak clearly. It's like I'm gritting my teeth constantly
Im getting mine on tuesday! Is there a must have to carry around with you that you found really helpful to have with you? x
Sounds really obvious, but a spare toothbrush and retainer case!! You never know when you want a quick snack or stop off somewhere for a drink/food. And it’s the worst if you don’t have anywhere to put your retainer!!!
When I got invizign I didn’t get a login how does it work and where can I get it?
Did you have bite ramps? And what was your experience with them?
I got 42 Invisaligns and I did it in Switzerland. That cost me 13000$ which is too much.
Hi! My ortho wants me to wear invisilagn with elastics. I talk 8 hours a day for my job. The rubber bands worry me for this matter. Think I'm fine JUST using the invisalign?
I got the rubber bands and the entire inside of my mouth is like raw meat. I’m in incredible pain. Did you have issues with the bands cutting into your cheeks?
It’s been 2yrs..can we get a update ?
This was such a great video! Thank you!!!
Do you feel like your rubber bands pop a lot? Mine pop like every hour smh
Update?
Do you have to brush your teeth every time you take it out, before you put it back? I mean, you might end up brushing 4 times a day or something right?
every morning and night and brush your retainers at night too, and wast them every time you take them out before you put them back in
Is that metal looking thing attached to your gum or tray?
Its on ur tooth
Do you get your teeth whitened after Invisalign ?
The rubber bands make me nervous
Would you recommend Invisalign? I’m about to go for my consultation and I’m conflicted 🥴
I would 100%. I haven’t had any issues and I get on absolutely fine. It requires you to be disciplined so if you think you can do that, then do it!!
@@CosmoChlothank you! :) how have you found having to clean your teeth every time you eat things, etc? I’m going to university in September and I was a bit worried about having a lisp as well, did you find yourself getting over that quite quickly? Sorry for all the questions! I haven’t been for the in depth consultation yet and also haven’t spoken to anyone who’s been through the process
@@lilybarry4510 absolutely no issue at all! The lisp I got over fairly quickly. After the first night I could talk fine. However if I have them out for a long time for dinner, when I put them back in I have a lisp and sometimes if I’m talking quite a bit without a break, it comes back.
Taking them out to eat is fine also! It’s annoying for snacking so I don’t snack anymore. Just my three meals a day plus snacks in time I have them out. I think I found it annoying at first but you quickly adapt and it’s just a normal way of life now. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!!
@@CosmoChlo thank you so so much, I can’t even explain how helpful you’ve been! I’m super excited now to start it ☺️ have you found you’re making the progress you expected to make in the time you thought it would take (hope that makes sense 🤣)? I’ve heard some people say it took them longer than expected
@@lilybarry4510 yes! But it’s happened so quickly. The first few weeks I didn’t see much of a difference until around week 6/7. But now I’m so happy with it! Really on track :)
How are you r teeth now?
Do the wobbly teeth go back to normal ? ahaha
Yes they do!! Sometimes it feels like forever before they don’t wobble anymore but they really do eventually stop!
