What will come first? The NFL accepting the stupidity of their actions and stop blocking the comments for being too negative, or the show running into the ground and being cancelled all together?
Personally hoping gregg gets with dan and mark to go do it on their own. I would pay a patreon subscription to help aupport them if they did.
They'd make so much money on memberships and donations, but I'm sure the shield pays pretty well too, so it might still be pretty risky.
They wouldn't have the access that the corporate job offers. But they still have their chemistry...

I feel people can be negative , not agreeing with attacking Gregg but to say don’t be negative is not fair , the podcast got taken away from us with no explanation and replaced with the same dry nfl podcast churned out time and time again.

Best description of what this is that ive heard. Its just another one of 100s of other football podcasts now. Shadowy league figures hearing gregg struggle to host the shows that dan wasnt there and for some reason, decided to sign up for more of that lol

I guess most productive thing I can add here is that the decision made by NFL media to fire Dan and Mark made me lose interest in this show and so I’m not going to watch it anymore
I listened to Around the NFL when it was called Around the League. I don’t blame Greg for one second for staying with the NFL Media especially considering any family health issues. I have an issue with the NFL Media. Whomever made the decision to pull the plug and in such a disrespectful way to both the Heroes and the fans should be fired.
This podcast doesn’t use Greg’s strengths, and only make us miss the Around The League even more. After 11 years, I am just one of thousands that are unsubscribing. I don’t see this show lasting through the 2024 season unless the egos of the shadowy league prevent them cancelling until next off season when no one is paying attention.
I miss the hero and can’t wait to follow them on their new podcasts and/CZcams show.

Always respect and support Gregg, and at the same time, never forgive the NFL. Can do both.
I really like Gregg and hope this works out for him. At present the show is OK. However, there are plenty of other OK football podcasts too. It seems NFL media just want 50 shades of beige.
How bout we stop attacking Gregg for what the SLFs did. It's NFL Media's fault that any of this happened. Gregg is one of the heroes and needs our love and support while something is clearly going on with his family. True fans still love you, Gregg
Gregg is one of the heroes, and I am reasonably sure that he has only become so tiresome and smug as a result of button pushing by shadowy league figures. He is always welcome into the kickers VIP lounge. But he is not high octane presenting talent. There's a reason why he needed an A-list comedian to make his solo efforts listenable.
@@lostalone9320 calling him unlistenable is a stretch, but I understand that's opinion. I'm personally gonna give NFL daily a chance to figure out its own place in the NFL podcast environment. If it can't do that, then it won't last long, but it's been like four episodes. I'm willing to be patient.
I am also going to give it a try but right now it is definitely a struggle when you have a direct comparison. Dan got on my nerves sometimes, but he was super talented, and that was undeniable. Greg is also really great, but this role doesn't suit him very well . Maybe in time, he will figure it out. But having all of the heroes together was the Right Mix. But right now, it feels like we're trying to be sold a product that's similar quality when that's not the case at the moment

Very informative, but not very entertaining. Probably won’t be seeking it out.
The personal attacks on Gregg are upsetting and gross. He is a great guy trying his best in a very difficult situation. I think it is possible to enjoy this show for what it is. Soon enough, Dan and Marc will have their own show, which I suspect will have more of the banter and chaos that we're missing here. NFL Daily is an obviously inferior show to ATN. I am with those of you who are incredibly upset with the shadowy league figures for ending my favorite podcast. The NFL as a corporation needs to see how much they messed up here, but all the backlash towards Gregg personally is misplaced.

Very thankful we still have Gregg, but NFL Media made a big mistake letting go of Dan and Marc and cancelling ATN
Love these hosts but with the majority here. Want to watch my favourite NFL show again and will be following Dan and Marc's next venture over supporting these decisions by the higher ups.

There are no villains here, just people trying to do what's best for them and their family. Love ya Gregg and all the best for Dan and Marc on their new project! A special shoutout to Chris. I miss his voice so much I don't know how the people who knew him can deal with it. Lakisha and Lincoln are also a part of this family and we love you as well! New Horizons are coming and make sure you Heed The Call.
Having accepted that this is going to be different as a show there are also a lot of similarities. Ok we all miss Dan & Marc, but I'm happy to give Gregg's show a shot and continue to watch. Go Gregg and go Dan & Marc with whatever is next for them!

This is such a bummer, I've tried listening to these but they're just so dull and lifeless. All these people are wonderful, but Dan and Marc really made the show special. I just don't see a reason to listen anymore :(

Holy crap I didn't even realise - THEY CHANGED THE NAME OF THIS CHANNEL. It was bad enough they changed from ATL to ATNfl, but it is deeply galling that they tried to make sure that all of us long time onion hanging heroes would have this awful show appear in our feeds, while completely destroying the legacy of ATL.

ATN was a sitcom based around 3 dudes doing a football podcast. Cheers, Frasier, Friends, etc, etc. And that's why I loved it. Love to Gregg but this offshoot is unfortunately just another talking heads football show. I'll give it a few weeks but I'm not optimistic. It is somewhat boring.
