I’d put Carl Wayne up against any of the easy listening singers of the 70’s and 80’s. His pitch was perfect and he was great. It’s a shame that most people still refer to him as ‘that guy from The Move’ this style of music always suited him better. Such a shame he left us WAAAAY to soon. RIP Carl.

Any idea why he went down the cabaret route after leaving The Move ? Was it financial ? Completely different type of music from The Move.
