Hi Melrose. I love your perseverance. Regarding the clothes horse, maybe a horizontal brace across each side would help stabilise it? With your garden, I would purchase some insect netting. The holes are too small for insects to get through, but wide enough for rain to penetrate. Build a frame and attach your netting to it. I did this to the planter I have in my garden. Also, make sure there isn’t any larvae on the leaves or in the soil. You don’t want insects inside of the netting. Good luck 😊
Hi Thank you for your advice. I forgot that I have some netting, I will dig it out and throw it over my peppers. I just need to get some wood to build a frame. I noticed yesterday a toad sitting in my Pepper planter...!!!!
Hello Melrose dont know how you can stand that heat . Was home for 3 weeks and couldnt wait to get back to my second home . You should get some fine netting or wire to place on your veggie garden and it mighteork.
Hi The heat has me in bits ....its too hot. Yes I have covered them one with netting I had which I forgot about....but some bugs are hiding in the soil.LOL
