When the batch of MUPh candidates filed their application of joining the competition and Michelle Marquez Dee announced her candidacy, I never liked her and at the back of my mind , there are other candidates much better than her, and I said Michelle can be a finalist and the furthest she can reach in MUPh competition is to be in Top 5 and she could be given that placement because of her family’s name . But I was totally WRONG. I doubted her and I already judged her even before knowing her and hearing her speak and what she has to offer . When I saw her interview with Luis Portelles, she started to grow on me and just to make sure that she was growing in me, I decided to watched her interview with Adam just to solidify my liking for her . She was so natural the way she spoke , very eloquent with out trying to forced herself , she has a good advocacy and a vision that she wants to impart to other people . Positivity are written all over her face . Now, I’m a believer of her . If she wins the National title , she will not embarrass us as a Filipinos but she will definitely make the Philippines proud . I don't consider Michelle Dee as someone weak in communication skill. In fact she sounds amazing and eloquent. If ever she wins the crown I trust her assets, strength and confidence to garner a high placement in the MUI.
She will take the crown and for some reason same feeling when I knew cat will take home ms universe crown for Phil's and Ms MMD Jesus I am having the same feeling and after Cat Ms MMD is the only one giving me chills goose bumps and believe she will bring another crown for the Phil's for MSU 2022 and now MS MMD just need to also start saying she is the new MSU 2022. Michelle Dee, for me is still the one to beat. She may not be the best in everything but she has everything to win. Some are gorgeous but with poor comm skills, some are tall with vavababoom body but not so pretty faces, some are very pretty but not too tall…. but Michelle Dee has/excels in all department…Time in memorial the best in Q&A always gets the Universe crown in the Philippines with very few exceptions (Gazini, Dindi..)
I always wonder how gazini won to represent Phil's sorry I don't actually follow and pay attention on who they choose to represent but when I found out she was straight away I know we did not have a chance to be honest they concentrate too much on what she need to wear for MSU instead of calming her and she need to address her communication well with just short n sweet with a heart instead of long big English words that is hard to pronounce or remember

Her ADVOCACY will give a POSITIVE VIEW to all FILIPINOS who are not OPEN for OUR POPULATION who are MENTALLY CHALLENGE and they being taken for GRANTED or sometimes ikinakahiya ng FAMILY which is hindi dapat ,. The Govt. should give attention too to her ADVOCACY .
I can see that Michelle is well prepared for MU contest on El Salvador with her Pasarela, swim suit and Q and A portions but the only thing that I am a little bit concerned is her advocacy. We know that she has a strong advocacy on Autism and mental health but how well prepared is she about it. I visited her Instagram account and all I see are poses and modeling pictures nothing about her advocacies. I was expecting to see pictures of her with activities dealing with her advocacies and other worthwhile projects and activities. I think this is really important going to the competition, as you know MU judges will try to know you more and will investigate thru your social media accounts like Facebook and Instagram as to what you have been doing and what you have accomplished with regards to you advocacies not only at the present time but they will also look back as far as years before. And if you have nothing there, this might be one of the reasons or points against you or for any any candidate for that matter. It's good to have glam team and Q and A team to help and support you but you should also have an advocacy team to support you in your social media. Don't forget to cover all your bases.
Regarding RBonney, I think she was the most prepared candidate coz I have watched videos of her teaching girls who are victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, sewing classes and she says she has been sewing for 13 years, and what is great about her is she backed it up with videos showing her teaching the girls. She even showed her place of work where she actually conducted those classes. She has videos of interviews with different TV hosts about sustainable fashion practices which really helped her case. She is really an example of beauty with a purpose.
