Short answer is yes, I put seymore pickups in it, added 2 killswitches (buckethead style) and it's one of my favorite guitars I own
Epiphone has some really good Les Pauls. My main axe is a ‘59 LP Standard

Hey if you want to learn anything about doing setups for guitars or rather how to do anything related to the fretwork on a guitar, I strongly recommend you go to Shawna channel called Scar My Guitar!
Then you can learn almost everything about setups, maintenance, and about building guitars. Everything that you mentioned in your video here about your lack of knowledge will be cleared up just by subscribing to the name of the channel I just gave to you.

Anyways yah, I am a big Epiphone customer and own several different guitars. Since 2020, Epiphone came out with the Inspired By Gibson Line and they knocked it out of the park.
Most of all the high end Epiphone Inspired By Gibson guitars are excellent built and sounding guitars.

I think you're right!
Unless you’re a professional musician there’s no reason to buy a Gibson. Upgrade the Epiphone with pickups, fret job, graphite nut. Still come out ahead. Most epiphones come with Grovers and dont need upgrade.

I would agree with you. I could use a pickup upgrade but I'm not a professional guitar player. Other than adjusting the bridge height, and some nice new strings , I'm satisfied. Good tips.
