Yup. Could it have been better pointed out in the plot considering its such a major plot device? Definitely. Is it still a funny setup and payoff though? I'd say so for sure.
thats probably also why Stolas managed to drink it safely, cuz only a demon could quench their thirst on that liquid without any serious burns lol

Loona seems to have some sort of actual "anger issues" rather than just being "an edgy and grumpy teen," so I am happy to see that Blitzo's unceasing affection does actually seem to help her. Even if she has issues expressing affection back towards him.
And I really hope that Loona and Octavia become actual step-sisters soon~

This is a show about demons in hell. Also sometimes heaven. Something tells me, every time, that _the canonical god was watching_ that scene with Octavia & Loona, and just saw a beautiful moment between two people that _needed_ it- and parted the clouds. Just for them.
Personaly i saw loona and octavias's interaction more like a Big/little sister relationship rather than Romance (loona being the older and vi as the younger)something like ruby and yang from R.w.b.y.
It makes sense since both stolas and blitzo are getting a stronger bond.

Admittedly, i do love the scene, and I’d be fine with the two being together again, though under more casual circumstances.
It was great seeing Loona and Octavia interact. Also Blitzo finally found an audience that is willing to laugh at his jokes.
It will be interesting if he one day brags to Fizzarolli about his performance.

This episode actually makes me more excited for episode 8 of Season 1. Helluva Boss definitely needs more Loona-centric episodes!
I took a moment thinking back on when I first watched the pilot. I swear nearly every throwaway vulgar joke has evolved into some sort of deep subplot with wholesome messages.
Blitzø defending Loona showing how much he adores her? Check. Him replying to "does watching us (M&M) make you feel better about your sad single life" with "actually it does"? Check. Moxie and Blitzø's scrabbles? Check. The freaking entire character of Stolas? Huge check ✔️✔️✔️✔️

@@stancinatti8198 yeah no problem with people shipping them, I personally don't because I like the sister dynamic. Also it's not too weird for a 5 year age gap between a couple except if one of them is under whatever might be considered adult age or age of consent.

I’m surprised nobody really picked up on the fact that the smog clearing doesn’t show the meteor shower, it shows the moon.
While the main focus seems to be about Octavia and Loona’s relationships toward their respective fathers. I’d say Blitzø reliving his past by being mistaken for a sitcom actor is another character development for him. He even has a heart deep down when he doesn’t really want to show it.
I think Blitz and Stolas are both just really good at repressing and compartmentalizing. Also we still don’t know how Season 1 was supposed to end, maybe that episode has the fallout.
Blistz after phone call: Well, that went better than expected!

I loved this episode, loons and Octavia were so sweet. I’m surprised Stolas and blitz weren’t acquired with each other because of the last two episodes. But I loved their shipping moments. Stolas seems more confident and him as a human was a treat. Also demon Stolas yelling Blitz!!! Was great.
The feel I got from Loona & Octavia is that they seemed to act more like sisters having a heart-to-heart talk then anything.
For all you luna and Octavia shippers out there, Luna is like 21 or 22 and Octavia is 17

I see it as more of a sisterly thing too, but come on. Shippers can say her birthday quietly happened between episodes 1 and 2 of this season, then ship them freely. Or they can simply not care.
The age of fictional characters is not grounded in reality, anyone can point to a drawing and make up whatever number they want. As long as they don't look like children I think there's no point in being dramatic over shipping/R34 of *fictional* characters.

i had the EXACT same thought when i was watching the episode, just trying really hard not to ship them, though it is a thing i have been thinking about for a while, what happens if you start dating your best friend but then your parents start dating each other too? its not wrong because you fell in love before that happened, it's just _really awkward_
so i'll try to think about their relation being a teenager friendship since i feel awkward shipping them lol

ya know, it took me watching this video to realize something. Blitz has been taking care of Loona for 4 years now. She's 22 or at least that's what the wiki says so take that with a gain of salt. but regardless, Blitz has been a dad for a very short time.
