Moria bucket fall scene - heh, heh! Yeah that's memorable. The suspension building guitar riff and Noora's vocals make this ballad for me. Strangely the part I like most where she sings: "and they fell, and fell": often my fav parts are where Noora goes up, but in this she goes down, and I just love the feeling in it. There is one short point in the song I don't like, it is the start of the guitar solo moment, it's such a descendo after the very intense part, I felt like "this song suddenly went boring". And usually I love BB guitar solos, they are fast and lifting the song. But it goes past pretty soon and now it doesn't disturb me (so much) any more. In the video she obviously is an angel, and yeah the gangstas bit more than they could chew. When I watched the video 1st time and saw her rise in the air: instant chills.

My personal favourite album is Bringer of Pain, closely followed by Circus of Doom. But I love every album. FYI, their first album, Steel, featured a different lead vocalist named Nitte Valo. She left the band for personal reasons and the band hired Noora to replace her. I prefer Noora, but Nitte was also awesome. Very powerful, maybe more so than Noora, but not as raspy or as versatile as Noora. Nooras clean vocals are beautiful. Steel is also a fuckin great album. 🤘🤘
I've heard this before, not being a fan of female metal vocals. I never had that, but there are so many bands that growl, and aggressive attitude bands, I wonder if it makes a difference what kind of metal one mostly listens. My really first metal band I ever listened was Nightwish with Tarja Turunen and I absolutely love her vocals, so I guess it tuned me right away into female fronts as well.

I’m slowly discovering this band. I dislike female vocals in metal but omg her voice is awesome.
