Hi, maybe a bit, but it won't continue getting thicker a lot after you start and continue, that mainly depends on how much you are disposed to which amount of hair, but don't worry about shaving, once you make a routine of it, skin is gonna be smooth so it won't make much difference anyway. Don't feel like you have to get rid of hair, unless it's your preference, though I understand society can be petty, so people sometimes think shaving is worth it as it's indeed easy and quick. If you want I'd suggest only shaving your thickest and more visible hair, but don't bother for your finer and lighter hair, this way you'll have to shave much less (:.
