I THREW MY PHONE OMG!! Finally SHINee! These guys are the reason I got into kpop and I'm still in this fandom, almost a decade later! They're my absolute favorites!
Everybody really IS one of their hardest dances! They performed a 2x version of it in Weekly Idol, so that's another thing you can check out, too!

Shinee has already done 3 eps that were a series "Story of Light" after Jonghyun passed away. There is an incredible tribute to Jonghyun but I would highly recommend waiting to react to those songs/that series until after you know Shinee as 5. Shinee will always be 5 but you will get how important that song is once you know Shinee better! Thank you so much for reacting to them because they deserve so much love. SHINEE'S BACK!

Fun Fact Shinee is one of the best idol groups to invite to variety shows. That’s how funny they are as a group. SM used to send them to news shows to test out how well their artist could function and promote. Also, please check out their music a LOT of thier discography is RnB inspired. Think you would love it!
Edit: I would recommend starting with A Very Shinee guide/ Shinee setting the bar so high no one can reach it / and then any of their live performances especially from concerts!

SHINee is a 12 year group and they're going to continue making music. They're also one of the most respected groups in Kpop for their live vocal work and for setting the bar on dancing.
All of my fellow Shawols have already covered the requests so I'm just going to give you two a big THANK YOU! SHINee are dubbed as Kings of Live Performances. They super slay live.
Yes please react to more Shinee live stages, they are like the Kings of live performances known for their impressive vocals despite their hard choreographers. It's been a long running joke that Shinee eats their CD's, because their vocals are just so good live.
For live stages, some of my favorites are "Excuse me miss", "Like a fire", "Moon River Waltz"; "Woof Woof" is a very fun stage. I'd also suggest Onew singing "Nessun Dorma". You can't go wrong with watching their live stages though, so any is totally fine 😂.
Please react to anything from their Shinee IV world concert is just spectacular. Their performance of “Excuse Me Miss” is amazing! Or their performance of “Lucifer” at Tokyo Dome (the one where Taemin is wearing the Freddy Kreuger sweater and Minho in long red leather trench), or even some of their ballads (Shinee has amazing ballads bc of their vocals). I mean they are legends of live performance. I watch their concerts on repeat.
That venue was Tokyo Dome, it holds 55,000 people. They've even done fan meetings there.

I'm so glad you are finally doing SHINee reactions, they are amazing (and obviously my fav kpop group). Their live performances are top notch, their vocals and thei choreos, they are definitely one of the best out there. It's nice hearing you talk about how hard kpop choreos are, because SHINee had a huge impact in that, they made hard choreos in kpop boy groups mainstream, before the groups didn't usually had hard choreos and weren't really considered good dancers.
from debut they used to jog while singing live to build up their live singing abilities, They almost always sound just like they do on the CD. People use the term CDNee, or the saying "They ate their CDs" because of how good they sound. One of the things they really aren't good at is lip-sync, plus they hate it, so they kinda make it obvious when they are forced to lip-sync lol

They all have their solo careers from acting, solo albums, musical even variety shows so the group members are doing well on their own
But they'll have a comeback soon as a group as spoiled by Taemin.

Hi. Love your videos. Shinee are master performers and these clips give you a clue but watching an entire song really makes it clear. Actually, to really understand how good they are I recommend you take the time to watch one of their concert openings like SWC V in Seoul. They come out and perform 5 numbers in succession without a break and it's totally amazing. The opening of SWC III is also incredible.

Their debut song “Replay” is timeless and is truly Shinee. Check out their Replay MV (korean version). It’s old, their first song so they are all super young but it is a must.

Of all the kpop groups that I have had the opportunity to listen and see live... This group has unlimited resources... They are not limited to the vocal and rap line because they are all good vocalists, their discography is very varied and always setting trends, for me and what I have heard and seen this group deserves more recognition. Too bad that in these times talent is overshadowed by popularity.

I think the most charming aspect of SHINee is;
1) Their individual strong vocal ability and how perfectly their voices blend together despite each member's voice color being very unique and different from each other.
2) Their ability to pull of even the weirdest concepts. SHINee's music is 'contemporary' meaning that they will be the first in presenting new styles of Music, Dance, and Fashion. Because of that they have tried out many different genres and styles over the years. They have been pioneers in the industry giving birth to many trends in the kpop community.
To most new kpop fans SHINee may seem old school since they have been around for more than a decade but their youngest member Taemin is 27 and their oldest member Onew is just 30 years old. Thats still pretty young I mean Taylor Swift is 30, Ariana Grande is 27..I don't understand why age matters for Korean idols when it doesn't for American idols...They still put out good music thats all that matters.
SHINee has been praised by critics and insiders, acknowledged by the industry and the general public both for their music and choreographies, inspired countless idols but they still do not get the attention they deserve. Everyone knows SHINee in S.Korea, netizens say SHINee makes good music, they are good singers, kings of live performance, they have good personalities, they are hardworking but their music is too different for them. Like too artsy I donno. I think they are just tasteless lol
In conclusion I think SHINee is like aged cheese; expensive, hard to make, considered a delicates but mostly enjoyed by few people who are addicted to it. We gourmets who have exceptional taste can't get enough of SHINee while others who only like to eat bland cream cheese don't know how to appreciate them.

They practically raised most of the SM artists we knew today.
They debuted as an acapella group so their forte is vocals with simple dance routines (much like mamamoo style) but they also have singles which had a mid-level difficulty dance routine plus insanely stable vocals. *RISING SUN* was their best release (for me) but all of their songs are crazy good and timeless!

Shinee are the prince of Kpop & they've bring a lot in the industry & are one of the only groupe who can do all style of music & if the Kpop is the way it's today it because of them & some few other old groupes. All new People in Kpop don't know that but its true, Their leader Onew can do Opera & is an Actor, Jonghyun who died in 2017 was one of the most beautiful voice in korea , Taemin is the Dancing king in Korea, Key is The Fashion one & Minho is the "Visual" & Actor . Kpop owes a lot to Shinee & the few other pillars of Kpop (old one). I Know All the Kpop Groupes since their debut , the Old one & the new one & i see the difference & know who really have bring sometime or why some little thing now are the way they're are because of the older one .
