The one thing that would have made it even better is if whom ever filmed this would have sat nearer to the back of the bus. It would be even easier to identify what engine this thing had. However from what it initially sounded like to me it could have been easily mistaken for a detroit 6v92 or a 671.
That would explain where I would have easily made the mistake. I am guessing this thing had a Voith Transmission. I am guessing that because of the delay that Voith Transmissions have when shifting from first to second gear.
Umn this sounds like it has a detroit but, I can place which one. If it doesn't then it sure sounds like the strangest diesel I have heard.

What you are hearing is the sound from the radiator fan plus a bit from the back where the engine is.
