The first time I heard FASTBREAK was on that Extent fanzine compilation CD. Then I got the "fast Cars, Fast Women" LP from Anton at a Chicago Fest, and it's still one of my favorite hardcore albums ever! Saw them at Krazy Fest that one year when SAVES THE DAY also played, maybe KID DYNAMITE also. But these guys were starting to stink with that "Music is my girlfriend" shit.
I first heard them on the hardcore compilation "Our Own Way" with their track "no problem solved" and it sounds diffrent than on the "fast cars fast women" lp. Was a huge fan since 1998. Got all records on limited vinyl , all shirts and demos. Even got the Lp on revelation as testpress (the only testpress of a record i ever got). With all that said , i think the first two songs of their first demo are the best maybe also their song "all these things". (edit: lol they actually play this songs at 6:20)
They were maybe the most underrated of all the 90's bands. They were ready to blow, and then they went emo and destroyed it all. Saves the Day blowing up was the worst thing that ever happened to them.
