Almost 10 years ago I saw a video of the percussion group Stomp performing. It stuck with me and definitely inspired me to make this :)

That was incredibly stressful to watch for some reason haha
Because at the same time we are all trying to see if the sound is in sync with the video..
there was added extra sounds and not all bounce of the ball carries the same tone, i feel like they've cheated the audience with title.. when it's not even right

Marc larazeno Not only that, but anyone who has worked even a little bit with recording, miking and sound engineering can *immediately* understand that you can never get a recording as perfect (and with such good stereo effects & positioning), as consistent volume-wise and as noise free as this over shooting in an open air basketball field. So... another misleading "true" ad, like the one with the "people kissing for the 1st time" or the "robot vs. pro table tennis player" etc. Fake ads all over CZcams...

CaptainNibble One take usually means that there is no editing. That doesn't mean that they didn't mess up and just start over (which I'm sure they did a few times) XD

For a one taker it was nice not to hear some loud beat but only here the minimalistic sounds of the props used.

tons... these complicated one take videos often take a bunch of tries to get right. This one was especially hard because there were so many people and moving parts, and of course we only use one take, so you can't cut anything together.. honestly we might have done it 20-30 times before we got this one take, not really sure :1

Hmm this video sounds like you recorded the music first and then, tried to bounce the balls and slam the car doors in sync with the recorded track.
Rowk you guys know nothing about recording. live sound: multiple mic setup for the recording for sure. one take doesn't mean they only had one try, of course they had to do it a bunch of times to get it right.
well, if it was a recording then they did hell of a good job going in sync with it in one take.

It is probably harder to sync something like this to a track than it is to record it live and in pure form...
Buick should make this their #1 commercial...great job, enjoyed watching it.
