This Act was created by the British in response to the Quit India Movement in 1942. Even Mahatma Gandhi and many leaders were arrested.
After independence whole India was free but it was not removed in some places.
Nehru rename it as AFSPA in 1958.
This ordinance is made by Bristish to suppress India.
