Seriously, just a suggestion make one video admiring things like you did at 34 sec on this video, and reading what that is you looking at. Idk why but stuff like this is just pure vanilla shots to my brain. Thank you.

Watching more Indian ASMR artists...I did not realize how many beauty products in India are in English and aren't even using Indian models. Surprised me, since India is the 2nd largest country in the world. Are most beauty products made for Europe, Australia and America maybe? Or is it cheaply sold in India as excess product (or produced in India?) And Indians are less picky about that stuff?
Colourism. Ppl r less likely to buy darker shades and make up companies understand the demand otherwise they wont earn, so ig thats why the makeup looks too light and i wldnt be surprised if deeper skin toned ppl in India found it difficult to match their actual shade even if they wanted to.
@@byeeesksksk3108 I know lighter skin is considered pretty in a lot of cultures. Thats a wealth status thing...not having to work outside. But I'm noticing the actual beauty containers are not in Hindi or other indian languages often. They are in English. Ive seen a few that looked indian and had what I assume is an indian woman on the eye shadow box. But more so english and white European heritage models. Or just in english. Just thought it was interesting for a large country. But some of these products might be made there or near there and maybe Indian culture is more relaxed about that. And maybe more beauty products are made in English idk. Or it's a piece of colonialism left over from the British that didnt get pushed out culturally. And/Or these companies sell their overstock for cheaper in some countries. Lord knows I've bought cheaper products labeled in Spanish for that reason.
The mass products - usually use non- Indian models. There are many home-grown brands that are coming up that acknowledge the varied complexions and have now started getting models to represent their company, even gender neutral makeup lines are coming up. However, these turn out to be a little unaffordable. It is true that colonialism and colourism and “looking up to the whites” is a concept that’s deeply embedded in our culture, it’s also because “makeup” is not a part of it. On Kajal (kohl) , something that has been a part of our culture which is considered makeup, you’ll often find Indian models and actresses.
