    Loved the opening shot Will 👌. Impressive Cinematography, the X31 S303/Sprinter transition was a favourite of mine. Well-done with the lowlight conditions.

    Is it my imagination or are those telegraph poles crooked and about topple over and some has broken wires?

    • @WillJamesRailways
      @WillJamesRailways  Před 3 lety +1

      Not at all! They certainly are crooked and broken! They’re all up the North-Eastern Line, they’re just the old telegraph poles. I assume for the Melbourne to Sydney exchange.

    What are the two big orange locos about @11:48. The look rather long for an older style locos.

    • @WillJamesRailways
      @WillJamesRailways  Před 3 lety +1

      They’re CLF/CLP locos, last of the steamliner locomotives to be built in the world (I think) built in 1970 and over hauled in 1990!

      @@WillJamesRailways Thanks Will, the middle and back looks like US F45 loco.

      @@redstorm2003 The funny thing is that these locos original spec had them getting FD45 cabs and Do-Do wheeling, instead it wound up getting the Bulldog nose and Co-Co during the design stage.
