That is a awesome poster magazine! Yep your right ric ! That thing is rare! I’ve got the rolled poster version of Peter! I know it’s a reprint ! I wish I knew what year it came out though! I have to say ace’s pose could be better in that one holding his arms up ! Ha ha ha! What do think about 10,000 volts song? You know the saying kiss fans knows kiss best! I hope that works with Steve brown being a kiss/ ace fan! I hope ace can deliver a 70’s vibe album! I’m really excited! I hope he will come back in my area again live ! I had this magazine back in the day when it came out. I remember putting the color posters up on my wall all together, two side by side above the other two side by side. I think I even put them up in the order that the members of the band appeared on the solo album poster. Such fun memories. I'm glad you finally scored this one. I am still on the lookout for it and The Best of KISS. Take Care!

The KISS Dynasty show on August 4th 1979 in Toronto will forever be etched in my mind as the last vestige of my innocent youth before the reality of growing-up into another realm of possibilities came as the 80s went forward. It was a personal adjustment and realization for me at that time that life changes beyond our control. I have already said to you Demon Dude the AI avatars are a worthless third-party endeavour. Gene and Paul are already having second thoughts, yet your poster book is golden Dynasty-era shiznitz from the final time of the original KISS band. I think I still have the 'KISS Meets the Phantom' magazine somewhere packed-away. The Elvis magazine offerings are interesting as he was gone at the point by two years already.
Love ti hear about that adjustment. So fun to imagine how even just costume changes can bring on such a change in taste. Probably why I like the 79’ era….mistakes and all, it was all part of the machine spinning out of control. Have a great week!
Awesome. I saw them on October 4th, 1979 at Veterans Memorial Auditorium, in Desmoines, Iowa. Was 13 years old. But even as a kid, I could see the friction starting to happen with the band. But still got to see my heroes. That was the first time that I saw them. Saw them on the Creatures of the Night, Lick it Up and Animalize Tours. I have to say that they were on fire on the Creatures' Tour.
@@user-os4wk3fq7y You were lucky, I missed the COTN show in '83 in Toronto, my biggest regret in Kisstory. My first concert was also when I was 13...KISS with Cheap Trick opening in July '77 at a small hockey arena in south-west Ontario. I saw the Lick It Up show but oddly KISS never played the Animalize tour east of Winnipeg in Canada in '85.
Awsome video man love that magazine i belive those pics were in royal highness either the 1st set or the 2nd set both great boxsets with awsome picture books of the dynasty era but your magazine has some cool posters and pics love the promo stuff also have a great weekend my man and take care

As someone who grew up during this area of KISS, $2.50 was a lot of money to spend on a magazine. Not to mention, when you went to the newsstand, there would be more than one magazine with KISS gracing the front cover at anytime. It all came down to how much money you had and which magazine or other KISS related items you wanted more. The stores were full of KISS merchandise.

Very true, that would have been around $11-$12 today, and for a kid that would have been super tough. Love the fact you got to experience this, and had all of those magazines. They are the best of the bunch. Have a great week!
I woke up from my disco nap to find your latest post on CZcams. Congratulations I'm glad you scored your "white whale"! Great memories for myself buying it when it was originally in the magazine stand of my local drugstore. 1979 was my end of 8th grade into high school year and these posters made it to my bedroom walls next to so many other KISS posters. I just wish I hung on to them all.
That is a wonderful memory. Thank you for starting off my weekend with a visual like that. 8th grade going into high school....that's perfect. Even more perfect, purchased at the drugstore. My mom has this Dynasty poster book! I am unsure when she got it. If she got it in 1979, she would have been 14. I'm gonna guess not because all the posters are perfectly in tact. Possibly got it in the 90s??
