A race-to-7 double elimination bracket will reduce the field to 16 players who will then face single elimination, race to 9, to determine the champion.
Also taking place in Klagenfurt this week: the Predator WPA World 8-Ball Men’s Championship (17-22 October) and the Predator WPA World 10-Ball Junior Championships (19-22 October), which has divisions for Girls, Boys Under-19s and Boys Under-17s.

This is the hardest defeat I've seen handed to Allison Fisher and it was done by one of my favourite players to watch. Well done Chezka Centeno, you needed to win all five remaining games while Allison stood on the "hill" waiting for that one game to move on to the final and was denied. It's about damn time Chezka! I have just begun watching "Chezka", I had to laugh at some of comments from the live stream. Several said things like she can only play pinoy and other derogatory statements because Allison is such a great player they felt safe . "Chezka" has proved to be world class.

Lesson learned sa mga pinoy, wag puro kuda at feeling magaling kung lamang ang kalaban. Kahit isa o dalawa lang lamang dami na sinasabi. This game proves na comeback is possible kahit nasa hill na kalaban hangga't di nahuhulog ang huling bola panapos may pagasa pa. 10 ball to kaya kahit alternate break pwede maka comeback. Pag 9 ball tas alternate break mahirap tapos lalo na pag mga mens na sobrang consistent sa break. Then triangle racking to hindi magic racking. Ayon lang, congrats kay chezka. Mahirap makakalaban nya si han yu.She can't afford too much mistakes against YU, gotta work on her safeties and diskarte ,sa break malas lang talaga. You can't change her fast paced tempo, it's her style. Han yu vs Centeno gonna be a great final.
