I'm a good bunker player. But. Over here with golf courses being short of money sand is the first thing they neglect. I'm basically playing off hard pan or the thinest veneer of sand over hard pan.
My plan for bunkers is very simple - don't go in them. Do everything I can to play away from a bunker.
Can you do video on fairway bunkers.
Get out of bunker is pretty easy. Whats difficult is get out with the proper way 😂

I don't like to practice bunker shots because it seems to wear my wedges much sooner. But I switch out wedges every 6 to 9 months anyway lol.

Best way to get out of a bunker. Pick the ball up, go back to where you originally hit it, hit it again. You can keep doing this until you miss the bunker entirely and you have a non bunker shot to the green. By Mister mulligan rules you only need to take the stroke for the one ball that you managed to miss the bunker with. The group behind you will wait, and wait, and wait, until you simply stop filling the bunker with balls, pick them all up, card a bogey for the hole and move on to the next tee box. =:)
What kind of bounce do you have on your wedges? Here at TPC Potomac, it recently changed to something between hard and soft.
