Do people ever fit a shorter steering column in Legends cars? Seems like a larger driver would have a terrible time with the wheel so close. Even a 2-3" shorter column could be nice

Yes steering columns are completely adjustable. My self being shorter I have a little bit longer of a steering shaft. Others have very short shafts with extensions on the steering wheel. It is completely up to driver preference.
I also feel my arms get less fatigued when the wheel is closer.

I have a legend car myself and have been desperately searching for "road" gears. Do you have any info on where I can find some? I'm in the U.S. and the good old Google search just doesn't show any with a low enough gearing. I have been looking for a 2.50 ratio with no luck

Contact GO Motorsports out of Maine. I get all my gears from them. Great people with a lot of knowledge about the cars. Or join the Just Legends group on Facebook and create a post looking for a 2.50. I personally have never gone that low in a gear ratio for road racing. I am usually in the mid to high 3’s.

@kylecaissie I did just happen to find go motorsports and they have a 2.93 gear set. I am not building mine for race use but as a street project. From what I just found in a forum a 2.93? tops at 190kmh? Which equates to 118 mph which I don't NEED but hoping a lower gear ratio would give better cruise ability. As of now the car seems to top at 60mph max all out Rev, so my car was originally set for circle track and I suspect it has a REALLY high gear ratio. Thanks for your help!
