The 2016 Democratic Convention was held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia July 25-28, 2016. Working in partnership with the Philadelphia Host Committee, the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, our goal was to make this the most engaging, innovative and forward looking Convention in history. The 2016 Democratic National Convention leveraged technology to take the Convention experience well beyond the hall in an effort to engage more Americans than ever before in the event. With the birthplace of American Democracy as a backdrop, the 2016 convention in Philadelphia highlighted our shared Democratic values.
The Democratic Convention is the formal nominating event for the Democratic candidates for President and Vice President. At the Convention, the Democratic Party also adopts the official Democratic Party platform as well as the rules and procedures governing party activities including the nomination process for presidential candidates in the next election cycle.
The CEO for the 2016 Democratic National Convention is Reverend Leah D. Daughtry.

I would've been awestruck and ecstatic to wake up to a President Hillary Clinton. I simply cannot believe that Trump could be commander in chief. I'm not sure what you mean by "But at the DNC..." And I didn't see the event you speak of, but I'm glad you mention it. This is an excellent example of which party truly values freedom. Why should she be in jail?
For one she deleting over 30,000 emails while an Investigation was going on, that's called an obstruction of an on going investigation and you can go to jail for that alone. I was a staunch Bernie supporter in '16, but being from NY, I knew who and what Trump was. I signed up to volunteer with her campaign the morning after this speech (including my services as a lawyer). I heard nothing. I followed up with calls which were never responded to. I even went in person to her campaign office in Bklyn Heights but was not let in. Years later, I ran into someone who had worked on her campaign who told me that everyone who signed up was cross-checked against people who had signed up with Bernie's campaign and if they were a match, they were "put in the round file." She herself may well be an impressive person; but the cynical, arrogant and complacent campaign in her namewill go down in infamy for allowing what was to come.

I believe in this Democratic party, probably the most progressive platform and probably one of our strongest nominees. I always love how livid she makes the nationalist bull pit, but she is the greatest American female politician (all be it an American moderate liberal) ever.
I voted for Bernie in the primary, because I wanted a more progressive democratic party. But even if there was the alleged favoritism, I can see why: He's a socialist first, then a independent, then a democrat . . . . Yeah, I can see why they favored the long term democrat. Undemocratic?
