I was born 80% deaf, my mom gave me to her parents, my uncle used to put his amplifier face down and he' take off my shoes off and he would start playing his guitar and I could feel the vibrations I used to dance with my brother when he played the guitar. When I got my first pair of hearing aids, he played his guitar, and this is the first song I actually heard. The song has a very special meaning for me, I can see my uncle on our front porch playing his guitar, the amazing thing is, he was also deaf, he taught himself to play, and it was my grandma that put his amplifier face down so he could feel the vibrations, he would feel the song once and play it note for note perfectly. My uncle and I are the only deaf one's in our family.
