- Its all systems go as the government is set to officially commission the Thika superhighway today. The reconstruction of the road which has been divided into three sections from Nairobi's Museum hill round-about to Thika town, has been jointly funded by the Kenya government, the African development bank and the people's republic of china. Denis Otieno gives us the milestones of this infrastructure project which has been completed at a cost of 31 billion shillings.
I remember Visiting Kenya with my Wife in 2011, and on our way to Samburu Land, our Driver Used portions of that Highway to get Us there, it was nice to see Kenyans working along side the Chinese to improve the Transportation Infrastructure of Kenya. Kenya is definitely on the right Track of modernization, and the Agricultural potential is great as the People and Clans come together to nurture that sector, It will be a day of rejoicing for the greater long term stability in the Region. Also on the way back on that Highway we headed to Masai Land with stops to Lake Nakiru, The Great Rift Valley, The Equator, Thompson Falls and other points of Interest. Kenya has great Potential and represents To Me The Eye Of Africa My Ancestral and Spiritual Home Land. Harambee My People Jah Love.
Great!!! we now need more of this in kenya.
The same needs to be done for Mombasa road
Kudos to Kibaki
50km of a super highway, lets not get overexcited. The country is big and needs more. ALOT more and I mean alot. Focus: the next priority. I'd say minimum wage.
Good job
Thank god my people is getting new upgrades.
Nairobi expressway
Very good condition
FIX LAKE VICTORIA If there is 31 billion for a road then there is 500 million to import 10 haevy duty hyacinth harvesting boats to rid lake victoria of the menace! If he does that then i will praise him. LUO people are suffering , what can kibaki do for them?
Kibaki you have truly looked after Kenyans
Back in the day when we had tangible and meaningful government projects.
Hopefully they maintain it .
Oh ..are you the one who has been maintaining it? Stupid
Why is there a zebra crossing on the highway andin few meters there is a bridge for pedestrians? People walking over a highway? Really?
This is the thing i will remember president Kibaki for.
Uwee,, things change walai🤣🤣
Good old times
tell that to these people check on youtube: Kisumu youth in hyacinth removal exercise
quote:Published on Oct 12, 2012
Youth in Kisumu town have now embarked on the manual removal of water hyacinth from lake Victoria. The weed that has been in the lake for the past two decades has led to a major decline in fishing stocks and deaths of several fishermen. The youth are now calling on the government to help in releasing funds meant to facilitate the removal of the weed that has chocked the lake.
Let's hope this will be the beginning of infrastructure explosion in Kenya as well as east Africa. if you travel, you will know that tuko nyuma sana. Now get down and expand that success to Hospitals, Airports, Universities, Stadiums and much more.
Kenya expanded infrastructure 5 times now.
ati 30 to 40 minutes 😂😂😂from nairobi to thika unapiga 1 hour yako safiii
Isioro moyare!!! Jameni kisugu ne gumu!
Imagine if President Kibaki is the current President, Kenya would be like Egypt, Morocco or South Africa, The Man was genius
If he was, you'd probably still be imagining of someone else.
True
Uhuru has done more but if you keep listening without doing your own research.....that you'll never know
@@idlerest6623 with a 9Trillion by his Name, he has done very little
@@idlerest6623 kibaki in his 7yrs he had borrowed 244Billion,he left 1.8Trillion debt, 644Billion was left by President Moi, 1.5Trillion is enough to construct 5.000KM of Dual Carriage in Kenya
1:56 - Obama face
now go fix lake victoria .... the poor guys are removing hyacinth by their bare hands ... give them 5 billion not 31billion like it cost to fix thika road. 5 billion to buy weed harvesters. 13 million people depend on that lake. don't turn your back on them because they are a different tribe. FIX LAKE VICTORIA NOW!
kisugu ne gumu kweri.lol.
Kibaki this Kibaki that. Kibaki did not build this highway. Your tribal prejudice blind you and you are latching onto everything for your tribal head. Kenyans will pay for this road all the billions that went to it and the billions they stole and included in the final bill.
Another imbecile overhere
What will you say about the Expressway?
