Gorgeous sound. Amelie, you have changed my opinion about Trevor James Cantabile flute. I will consider it in the future when I need to upgrade my flute. Personally, I would like to see more companies make a Bb foot. I like having the ability to play more notes and expand our range. What are your thoughts on upgrading the foot of flutes?
I notice the next Trevor James flute in the line, the Virtuoso, has an option for 0.018 wall thickness instead of the standard 0.016. How does a thicker wall affect tone in the various registers? How does it affect ease of playing? Thanks.
hi amelie! i was wondering if youve ever played the jupiter 507? im a high schopl student and im looking at buying one (i know its a cheap student flute, butim not going to music school or anything so im just looking for something good enough to play on for my own fun!)
no not yet, but i've heard some people are happy with them. I would just recommend bringing it to the shop every year or two just to get a check up. Sometimes nothing has to be done and its doesnt cost much. Try a few of the same version if you can.

I loved the sound of this flute!
I tried this today! It’s a beautifully sounding flute and very easy to change between harmonica and tone warmth
so glad you like it! So your thinking about getting a new flute?
Sounds like a nice flute! I just came back from a flute lesson (again) lol :)
hey i have this flute! exact brand and model and everything! nice

I strongly suggest *not* buying Jupiter saxophones or flutes (haven't tested their other instruments).
When you buy a new flute should you just play or do sth first because is new?or just play
Sth?
Should i just start playing in a new flute?this is i want to know
just play. but try a lot of flutes before you buy. then when you decide on one go about your regular schedule of practice.
I can’t find that flute. Is it not in production anymore?
Its now called Trevor James Chanson. Its still available over at FCNY, hope that helps!
@@flutechannel thank you!
