Jorden is a modern day phenom. She is an experience no one should miss if you love comedy. She is so beautifully animated , earthy natural and authentic. She pulls the audience into her world with ease and will have you gasping for air with rapid fire laughter. Funniest comic I have seen in years! Thanks for having her on your podcast.

Jordan’s take on depression was spot on. I can relate with what she said. It really is good advice
Generally, all depression comes from one of two things: we are biochemical beings. Ever hear of "Eat Eight for (4) Your Type?" I've known several people who completely overcame depression just by removing something like bananas from their diet.
The other thing is a feeling of betrayal by ANY authority figure, & unfortunately that is built right into most of Western culture, especially Christianity. Kids don't care so much that *Santa* isn't real. But that our parents lied to us, well...
Most depressed people spend their entire lives cycling through that one without ever resolving it.
Refreshing to see Jordan seriously talk about this topic. I appreciate both sides of her.

Your discussion of depression is so normalizing for so many and very honest. About liking yourself because of not liking to clean your room, I think that takes us to the issue of personal sovereignty and your right to be yourself regardless of conventional beliefs. It might also be wise to look into the consequences of leaving to many crumbs in your bed or couch. Ask exterminators what happens. Their answer will motivate a certain level of real need to maintain a certain level of cleanliness.
First time checking one of these out and I am digging it. You’re both pretty awesome to listen to

I'm loving this anatomy of stand up discussion from two amazing minds. On the topic of what you say when starting a set, I think saying, "What's up you guys?" is brilliant because it gets the audience thinking "up" thoughts, light thoughts, funny thoughts. But if you want to start on a darker topic, then you might want to start with a "How's everyone doing?"
