What's the use of explaining to a guy who probably can't even convert mph to kmph. These days any moron thinks he can read a conspiracy website and become an expert.
If people want to question it, that's fine, their opinion is their right. SSC can and probably will squash the video "legitimacy" claims, with the release of their documentary, which will be in great video quality. Not here to defend the company, as they can do that for themselves if they so chose, but as of right now I'm just going with the proclamation that they have the record. If looking at other videos they have produced, while accelerating hard (unlike the majority of the vmax run video) you can see how fast this car is able to cover ground. There is no mathematical reason the Agera RS which weighs more, has way less hp and a worse Cd should be able to accelerate and cover ground in the same manner as the Tuatara. Until the "claims" that the Tuatara didn't reach 331mph/532kph can be PROVEN, that is just what they are "claims".

@@SuperGeronimo999 it was done with a customer's car and on retail tires ssc waited 3 months for Guinness to review and certify the vehicle it will be in the 2022 record books.
@@brandonm30 Guinness wasn't even there and the record didn't happen. It was side by side with the Koenigsegg when it went from 315 to 330 mph and somehow the Koenigsegg only needed 20 seconds until the next crossing, while the SSC took 28 seconds. You can look it up in Google Earth. From that crossing to the next is 2310 meters. Divide by 20 and you will get an average speed of 258 mph for the Koenigsegg. Now do the same for the SSC and be shocked...
That speedometer is like 60 mph off if not more.

ngl, I liked SSC because it was the underdog of badass street cars but now it's pretty popular, I know that's a dumb reason to not like it as much but there's some logic to it

They might be preparing custom tires for that stuff. They did the speed record on regular Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that anyone can buy which is already insane.

@amarjit singh I actually think that will be in their documentary. Jason Castriota told me on Instagram that it puts down mind boggling 0-200mph times. I think they'll start showing more soon, first on the "thedrivenapp" before anywhere else.
